Nice, I guess Niida's the safer pick but Gonzalez is pretty explosive.
At last a Mandatory worth moniker in an outstanding match.Niidas Calibur and Longevity speaks for it self and Gonzalez is steady rising and seems a concusive hitter,These guys deserve top billing but Strawweights have never really recieved big Reconignition, while many "Names" and less skilled Heavys are fawned over with Millions....
All I will say is check this thread out and look for my post...

An excellent match-up!
Niida is a great strawweight & looked awesome in his last outing!
But Gonzalez looks the goods.
I'm going to go with Gonzalez, but everything says Niida should win this.
Should be a great fight!!!
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
I have been a fan of Gonzalez for quite some time i have predicted some big things from him, so im gonna go with Gonzalez by late TKO. I think he will be the future but this is a great match up for Gonzalez and this will certainly tell us a lot about him.
I just realized something, Roman been fighting at LFW and the fights gonna take place at MW.
Why go down in weight Roman when you've already moved up?

this will be an awsome fight. i think that Gonzalez will win this though and i think that he will win big. i wish i could see this somehow!!

I think this fight might look like Christian Mijares-Alexander Munoz. Niida by UD
Chocolate is a very different fighter on foreign soil , much more calculating and disciplined, back home he just wants to please the fans and go to war with over matched opponents.
Niida has the edge with experience no doubt but come the later rounds he will feel pressure just like Cotto did.
The only reason Gonzalez fought at the higher weight was because it was a short notice fight, come sept 15th Niida better be wearing a bullet proof vest because if he gets caught with a chocolate body punch, the lights will dim sum.
