That can only be good for the game IMO.

At the end of the day a good big man should beat a good little man, but Hopkins proved that isn't always the case!

I only hope that now we get Margarito/ Williams 2!!!

    I totally agree with this...

So I guess the fight its not THAT bad.

from the point of view of interest, it raises one's curiousity. that's why people are talking about it.

what to expect, what to expect. some are saying pac can pull it off whilst dlh can't pull the trigger. dlh definitely isn't the fighter he used to be and concessions have been made in pac's favor which can make it a more competitive fight. still most expect pac to be blown away. haters, fans and nuthuggers on both sides gives the hype this fight needs. everyone has varying opinions but at the end of the day i think we'll all be entertained.

From the onset, I'm predicting this fight will be entertaining and exciting... This fight becomes more exciting day by day...

I know you were up to something SaddoBoxer. I was feeling it already that the fight will happen coz you have been so passionate about it.

ODLH by UD if PAcman can still stand after 12 rounds.

ODH can't win here. No matter how spectacularly he beats Pac, it's always going to be seen as a complete mismatch IMO. If Pac wins, people are going to give him some credit, but I wonder how many will simply say Oscar was far past it.

I'm happy for PAC... He's in a win-win situation here... He just need to avoid those Hoya bombs during the fight and he will still come out a winner even if he loses...

Sorry I don't bet with you... but you can always go to Bodog where Oscar De La Hoya is at -400 and Manny Pacquiao at +300...

I'll never understand why some people are so against this fight.

    Default Real Champs

I think Mosley is better than DLH. It is so annoying to think of him getting these ridiculous fights/offers. Why can't boxing be about REAL champions? I am sure that I am just restating some stuff other people said, but seriously. Pacman needs to pursue realistic fights.

On a side note... does this remind you of Roy Jones jumping to heavyweight to grab a belt real quick (from Ruiz) and jumping back down? Pacs next fight is going to be difficult.

I wonder if he will look to Hatton with this victory? It would be a logical step.

Too big ,Too Strong it will be just like when Oscar fought Bernard. Dumb move for Pacquiao on this one. He must have been blinded by dollar signs.

No, it won't approach the Floyd-Oscar PPV numbers. Matching the Oscar-Tito PPV numbers is realistic though.

It's a no win situation for either guy

    a) Pac wins, well ODLH is past it legitimatly.

    b) ODLH wins, PAC is too small.

There is nothing to gain here but dollars, but since we all agree that that's all that matters, I'm sure you're all happy.

It's just the dislike people have for ODLH. Like I said before, people complained when the Forbes fight was being talked about saying he was the worse thing out there for that fight and how wrong it was as a PPV. Then, it was announced that the fight would be FREE and tickets for the stadium would be cheap, PEOPLE STILL COMPLAINED! No matter what ODLH does, he will be criticized. I am yet to see people say something positive about him around here.

This isn't true. If Pacquiao wins at 147 pounds, it's a huge win for him, no matter how old Oscar is.
