Of course he hasn't fought anyone on Vazquez or Marquez' level, not really talking about Marquez or Vazquez (although I wouldn't count him out, especially since do we really know how many tough fights either of those guys have left in them? ) was just talking about this assumption that he's overrated just cause he's a "puncher", he has some silky skills especially offensively.
Jhonny Gonzalez is a dangerous fight for anybody, he doesn't usually hold up but I wouldn't count him out as far as him getting to Juanma
Robert Guerrero has moved up to 130.
Juan Manuel is nowhere near Marquez or Vasquez's level. His biggest win was a guy who he got a gift against Escobedo.
It's almost like saying Breidis Prescott would beat Manny Pac or Nate Campbell just because he can punch.

Prescotts just another guy. He can punch, that's about it.
Lopez has great natural ability, has skills and can punch, if people aren't sold on him yet fine, but he's on another level from guys like Prescott.
One to watch.Extremely promising future and he really shows great timing with accuracy. Thanks for the vid.
He is the real deal Lee trust me i've been following him for awhile, he can box and punch. Prescott is just a limited banger and that showed in his fight before the Khan fight.
He has nowhere near the ability of JML, and someone mentioned Miranda in this thread. Are you kidding me ? Miranda has never ever looked good when he stepped up in competition against Green, Eastman, he was wobbled and KD in these fights.
Two words: FUCKING AWESOME!
Very similar to Pacs KO shot over Diaz, except Pac came from a left hook while JuanMas came from a right hook.
But the punches landed identically in the same.
He definitely looks a bit special. Plus that power too! He's got the power to take anybody out in his class and it looks like he's got the skills too.
Very impressed with JuanMa, I don't see much else he could before taking on the elite at his weight class, so let it happen.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
