Barerra never seemed like a one punch knockout guy. His damage is accumulative and about wearing his opponent down. If Roach is doing well with Khan's style then if Barerra lands one shot then Khan will probably have moved out of the way by the time the third and forth shot comes. I don't think he'll one punch knockout Khan, it would have to be accumulative of a beating, and if Khan gets off to a good start like in the first 6 rounds then he can coast and I don't know if Barerra would stop him. Barerra will definately finish stronger but I think Khan will take this by decision. But if Khan knocks out Barerra like toach thinks he will then I'll be shocked.
Barrera looks disinterested to me. I'm seriously starting to think his heart is not in this
Having said that...
Ive already backed Barrera to win by KO/TKO/DQ (5/2). Don't see another one round job.. Barrera will probably take a few rounds to warm up and expect Khan to start cautiously.
Khan is 20/1 to win in rounds 10-12.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Yea I know what you mean. I got that too. Mostly I think because he didn't punch Khan in the face prefight lol, plus his demeanor seems disinterested.
I on the other hand am too interested. Even stayed in last night to watch the fight. haha...couldn't figure out why there were no free links and it was all hush hush until it hit me the fight was today.![]()
fair play to khan for taken this fight......i think he wins this on a late round tko...possibly due to a cut eye......if he wins this fight it will open many opportunities for him to get sparked out by any decent champion.....i still don't think by beating MAB he has the physical attributes to beat the very best.....he has the tools but unfortunatley he hasn't the chin to hold a half decent punch
Job Biscuit (good luck any how)!!!
eh eh!!!
I've gone for Barrera in Round 5.
I think early on Khan will box super cautiously and to the Roach gameplan. Barrera will look to spring the counter shots but not have much joy early on.
If Khan can stick to his boxing for the whole fight then he can win but he can easily get disrupted and thrown out of the plan and Barrera however faded has the experience and skill to unsettle Khan and make him fight his fight.
Due to size and his obvious boxing ability Khan should win comfortably against the smaller, shopworn Barrera but Barrera still has an excellent fighting brain and hopefully the hunger to see this through.
I would hate to see another Graham Earl episode - Earl just seemed a shell once he was in the ring though seemed a tough test going into the fight.
Sometimes the years of fights and toil catch up with a fighter and Barrera has had a long and tough career.
I have no confidence in Khans ability to take a punch whatsoever and see him getting tagged by a counter - Limond style. Only Barrera will finish him off.
Just uploaded the vid from the weigh in yesterday.
Proof beyond dispute that Khan will be stepping into the lions den tonight . Listen to the support for Barrera at the end

Don't say that.
Barrera being a little over the weight limit first time out surprised me, I've had a few doubts creep in too. Still MAB by stoppage for me. Khan has it all to prove, and I can see him starting well actually. I hope Barrera tightens the leash sooner rather than later because I don't think my nerves could take it.
Yeah Ian Darke said he had casued a Fenzy but I saw it for myslef yesterday. There was only a handful of Khan fans there and I pushed my way past em to make it to the front . Finally met the great man and told him he was a legend
You coming to the fight later Miles? Ill be screaming for Barrera every single second of the fight
