Looks like Diaz is testing the waters for another in a long line of guys moving up.He keeps adding wear and tear while not having a big punch....that activity will become harder to sustain.Divisions are so very blurred these days.

Diaz should win this one but gets boxed a bit early.Keeps Paulie uncomfortable and out busy him late

Should be a decent fight, excited to see this one.
That was years ago and he has looked garbage ever since that, getting 2 gift decision's that he may of not deserved.

Can Paulie get enough of the early rounds under the his belt before Diaz manages to get close iam not sure but it will be a decent fight imo.

I hope Paulie wins he is a nice guy behind the crap that he talks before fights, met him 2twice once at manchester when he fought and the other after Hatton beat him in vegas and he still chatted to us just before he went to his after party.

Paulie is one lazy fukk and he's gonna look like a bum against Diaz's high work rate.

Diaz is finished with school........ No more distractions and he's hungry after that loss to redeem himself. Diaz early KO over Malignaggi.

Just figured we could have this bumped up with Sat night around the corner.Bzkfn if its cool with you might bump around some rbr's in here for those not able to view it live, after last weeks BS with crazy links, etc.Nothing worse than knowing a biggie is happening with zero clue whats going on......leaning towards Diaz even more so.Off a taxing tough brawl and emphatic KO vs Marquez and will be very interesting to see what he has retained-learned.I don't expect any thing but his norm....full frontal punches flying and looking to grind down Paulie.

Undercard see's Robert The ghost Guerrero make his way back to HBO's airwaves after his less than broad shouldered exit vs Daud Yordan in March of this year.He will clash with newly crowned ibf Jr lightweight champ Malcolm Klassen 24-4-2 in what should be a good match up.Klassen is a bit of a mystery man to myself with last two fights possibly providing his biggest names with Baloyi and Medina, both had seen better days.

My head says Diaz, but I want Malignaggi to win. He will need to show a lot, lot more than he did against Hatton. That means trying to throw punches and in combination before getting out the way and doing it again. If he can have a decent enough output, he can pull it off. Diaz is just going to work and work and I can't see Paulie worrying him too much with his pitty patter. Needs to rough Diaz up a little and try to cut/swell him up a bit.

It all depends on if Paulie can raise his game like against Cotto or if he is just going to muddle through like against Hatton. He must throw that right though and do if often, because a jab alone is likely not enough.

I don't know enough about Klassen to pick him, from what I've heard he's a serious enough guy, comes to fight type who will throw a fair amount of punches.

Paulie will try to make it ugly, move, clinch, do that thing where he moves then when somebody gets near duck and fall in and clinch, ugly ugly stuff. But it won't be enough.

The key to beating an inside volume puncher
Jab Footwork & Power 3 things that Paulie doesn't do well enough to keep Juan off of him. Don't see him getting stopped he went 12 with Cotto and 10 or 11 with Hatton who are better punchers than Juan is.

Malignaggi doesn't have Buddy as his trainer anymore so that's a step in the right direction and now he is with a trainer that suits his style a lot more, I wouldn't judge the Malignaggi that fought Hatton as the one that's gonna fight Diaz. As progressively worse he got the longer Buddy was his trainer, it's like the first fight they had before he really taught him anything he beat Ndou easily, and then since he looked terrible even barely beating Ndou in the rematch, I'm glad he got rid of Buddy. I think he'll do better against Diaz then people think he will. He doesn't need power to beat Diaz, he needs to stick and move and outspeed him and use that jab, I haven't seen how he looks under his new trainer but I can only hope he looks the way he looked prior to getting with Buddy. If he does I'm going with Malignaggi by UD. But if it's the same guy we saw against Hatton it will end similarly but Paulie won't get stopped.

you think paulie will really be that stupid to believe he can go toe to toe with diaz and outfight him?

Ive spent all week trying to make my mind up on this one and i just cant. Big diaz fan and hoping he pulls this out of the bag. But im completely in 2 minds.

If i was a betting man id go with a narrow diaz points win but this really is a toughie to call

I think Paulie's finished, Juan must have doubts in himself after his losses but I expect him to gain in confidence as he walks through Paulie's punches.
