This thread makes mighty mike a class c fighter.

seriously, what's wrong with quitting if you could no longer take the punishment?

You know what Ortiz overrated and glad he lost his fight and quite. I remeber in another thread were people saying he crush Bradley. What a joke when the going got tough he pussed out big time. If he was a champ would picked him self back up and done something about it. Vargas acomplished alot for his time and he did not quit to b level fighters. Being beat by what ever his name is not the same as by Trinidad or Dela Hoya.

Now I see why most people believe that Maidana is an undefeated fighter. Hey BruceLee. How dare you insult the great almighty like that?!

It's 100% fair to question Ortiz's heart after what happened last night. He laughed his way thru the entire postfight interview and didn't seem to grasp at all that he had just quit in a big fight that could have a lasting effect on his career.

He might not have the stomach to be a top fighter.

He pretty much said this sport isn't for me last night, I am ok with that. He got beat up he didn't like. If the kid is out I am ok with that and so should everyone else

It will be tough to come back from that now, his future opponents will be motivated by that and will try and make him quit again.

He reminds me a lot of Juan Diaz, great skills and lethal if you let him bully you but questionable punch resistance and vulnarable when bullied back.

I still want to see him fight again though, exciting fighter and he's still just a baby at 22.

Many threads on why people give Khan a hard time already, but it's not down to him being an arrogant prick!

He's no different to any other boxer hyping himself up.

As for Ortiz I haven't seen the fight, anyone know where it'll get uploaded first? Damn UK TV boxing coverage...
Really cause pretty much saying he is great because he beat a one eyed MAB is being an arrogant prick in my book. I could revisit those threads as well and point out where people would agree with me as I have read those

If he wants out, that's fine.... it's his life.

But since he's been discussed as a top prospect and future champion, it's 100% OK to question his heart and toughness and talk about how his actions last night might indicate that he won't become the top guy people were predicting him to be.

In my CHOSEN profession, I have been in incredibly hard fights.

I didnt choose boxing he did, again if you are going to go after something, pick something you would be willing to go out on your shield for.
    The key is Self-discipline.
