Pacquiao clearly has the better Resume. Its very hard to determine if we concentrate on subjectivity. Each fighter can be downplayed. coming off a loss moving up in weight blah blah and it can be done on both fighters resume. We better skip that and just look at the numbers and the fighters.

Here we can compare their championship runs and some of their notable fights.

    Manny Pacquiao
    112 - Sasakul ( Lineal ) WBC
    122 - Ledwabba IBF
    126 - Barrera ( Lineal ) Ring
    130 - Marquez ( Lineal Ring, WBC
    135 - Diaz WBC
    140 - Hatton ( Lineal ) Ring
    147 - Cotto WBO

Other notable wins : Oscar DelaHoya, Erik Morales, Oscar Larios, Joshua Clottey

    Floyd Mayweather
130 - Genaro Hernandez (Lineal) WBC
135 - Jose Luis Castillo WBC
    140 - Arturo Gatti WBC
    147 - Carlos Baldomir ( Lineal ) WBC
154 - Oscar Dela Hoya WBC

Other notable wins : Diego Corrales, Zab Judah, Jesus Chavez, Goyo vargas

MAB Tops anybody on Floyds resume including 38 yr.old Mosley(If Floyd wins).

Sasakul is a better win than Genaro
Barrera is a better win than Jose Luis Castillo
Juan Manuel Marquez is a better win than Arturo Gatti
Ricky Hatton is a better win than Carlos Baldomir
Miguel Cotto is at worse just as good a win againts Oscar DelaHoya

Your logic is a bit flawed in my opinion. You say JMM is a better win than Gatti but the Gatti win was not controversial it was a clear win and when Floyd fought JMM it was again a CLEAR win.

You say Ricky Hatton is a better win than Baldomir but Floyd had already beaten Hatton.

I don't understand people saying Sasakul was a better win then Genaro when Pac fought him he had only 3 fights outside of Thailand. Sure he was a lineal champ but in a VERY WEAK division.

All this who is the better win stuff is debatable.

    I agree its debatable.

Yes JMM fight was close and disputable but its still a win. and by comparison Gatti was never in the level of Marquez. Yes he's exciting and comes to fight but if you would look at both fighter a Narrow victory over a 130 lb Marquez is so many times better than a dominating win over Arturo Gatti ( RIP) My opinion of course. DO you think JMM and Gatti are even comparable?

It's irritating to go back on this but please be reminded that Hatton was a bit competive againts Floyd at 147lbs where not so long before the fight Hatton appeared not 'optimized' for Welterweights againts Collazo. Pacquiao Kayoed Hatton at 140. A Division Hatton has 0 loss and is the lineal Champion by way of Kostya Tzsyu.

Sasakul is a great Champion(Lineal) and i assume you didnt see the fight. Please watch and compare it to the 32 yr old about to retire Genaro Hernandez.

^^ IMO people always put too much weight on the Hatton win over Kostya. Hatton fought Kostya when he was like 35 years old and had only one other fight in the previous 29 months, and thats Hattons best victory?

He also knocked Shambra Mitchell out 6 months earlier in impressive fashion and was p4p number 3, Mosley is 38 but people are saying if he wins it will be Floyds best win so which one is it?

Kosta was unbeaton for 8 years ffs, maybe not in his prime but that was a great win by Hatton.

Sasakul was not only the lineal champ and Pac beat him for his 1st title but he did it at 19 years old. To become lineal champ at 19 and be considered the man at the division is an extraordinary achievement. That is ultra rare in boxing to do something like that in your teenage years especially given Pacquiao had almost no amateur background and was fighting a physically mature man.

I guarantee you can't even name 5 lineal champions in boxing history that were teenagers.
