DeJesus phoned it in...didnt seem like he was there to win to me. Nevertheless, Barrera can still score punches, but he wasnt under alot of attack so we will see if he gets a tougher opponent.

I saw someone, I can't remember who (maybe Killer on Facebook?), talking about the possibility of MAB - Morales IV. I wouldn't be surprised to see that or even MAB - JMM II. He's a "senior-tour" type fighter at this point.

I don't think Barrera is stopping anyone at the weight, but that's his first fight in an age. Just a testing out warm up fight. He's 36 and will box his way to a win rather than go for broke looking for blood. I'm quite okay with that. He can build on this next time out and then maybe go for a belt. The first 3 rounds here were feel out rounds which he took easily enough and from that point he gradually upped the work rate. It wasn't a spectacular performance, but it was a proffesional one. You can't do more than win every round, you aren't always going to get a stoppage.

I'm quite satisfied with the performance and hope to see him again in the fall.

i don't wanna see either fight honestly, IMO guys like Morales and Barrera are looking just to get hurt they're not quite at the level of Holyfield but their getting close
