I hope Haye wins but just cannot see him get past Wlads jab, holding, blocking and right hand. Brutal beat down I am afraid to say.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
True, Wlad has never fought Haye, but aside from having a bit more power, I just don't see Haye being much better then Chris Byrd, Eddie Chambers, or some of the small HW's Wlad has already knocked out. No offense sir, but some of you are overrating Haye's power, ablity and actual accomplishments to the max. In regards to Haye being "supremely confident", that will all disapear once he starts getting pummeled with big right hands and realizes he's not in there with chumps like Maccarinelli, Audley and Barrett, or a washed up version of John Ruiz.
I mean think about it, Wlad's been a HW his entire career and been a HW champion the better part of 10 years, and a former Cruiserweight, with 5 HW fights under his belt is going to waltz in like this was Audley Harrison and knock the recognized HW champion out? Haye is the most hyped fighter in boxing right now, for no apparent reason that I can see.

As I've said before... If there is one thing thing about Haye you can't overrate, it's His power.

Me too.
I actually like the way Wlad is coming off in the interviews. He has become quite humanised. Haye on the other hand seems like a moody and quite annoying teenager. "Ooh, I can't be in the same room. I might hit him now". Grow up, you idiot!
It will be fun to see the gurning hyena knocked out. Wlad will play it safe and build up the rounds and Haye will find that Wlad is just that little bit better than Valuev.
That's the thing with Haye, he has a belt, but he has talked his way into the HW division. The only meaningful win he has is over someone a 48 year old Holyfield beat just months before and who did it more impressively IMO.
I wonder if the WBA title holder will initiate a clinch once he gets caught by a power punch.
I do know the WBA title holder is in waaaaaay over his head on this one. He's talented and he constantly points out Wlad's flaws but his flaws are out there too and his boxing ability and style doesn't really help cover those flaws up.
Look at the power punching, hand speed, and boxing abilities of the WBA title holder's heavyweight conquests and then compare them to Wlad...it is going to be a SLAUGHTER!
Wlad will fight scared like he always does, but unfortunately Haye will too. Jab, jab, the occasional looping shot from Haye, late stoppage for Wlad, and the world continues to wait for that most blessed day, the retirement announcement.

Oh he's got some pop and the few times he does straighten out his punches they are very quick and of course very dangerous.
The thing with Wlad is that he uses his height and reach very well...even if the WBA title holder tries to counter Wlad's jab the counter punch will have to travel a long distance to connect on Wlad's chin which of course gives Wlad more time to react.
On the other hand Wlad's punches are powerful, straight, and quick and the WBA title holder's defense isn't all that great. I'm just wondering what punch will end the fight...right cross, left hook, or the newly discovered uppercut?
My money is on the left hook.
Either that or a Haymaker![]()

Alright some may expect Wladimir to go about this fight and punish Haye like Ali did to Terrell while screaming "Shake my Hand!" instead of "whats my name?"
However I think Haye could win this fight if he takes advantage of a counter jab and a counter right. Wladimir can be hit by a jab consistently, people like Brewster and even DaVarryl Williamson were able to land jabs on Wlad and sucker him into counter rights of some sort, but with Brewster it was a left hook. If Haye actually uses his jab when he is pressing forward against Wladimir he could have an advantage, it all depends on how he comes out. But his opening will be there in the first 6 rounds, if he hasn't done anything by then and goes into desperation mode for the knockout he won't win at all.
Wlad is a totally different fighter since those fights...odds are if you try to counter jab Wlad he's going to catch you with the cross and unlike Brewster the WBA title holder doesn't have the whiskers to take that.
You really have to be on alert for Wlad's left hook too that's a devistating punch.
