Korean Apts. Look Like ‘Exploding Twin Towers’
It is just a building built a bit differently. So what if some are suggesting that it looks like the twin towers. Some people are oversensitive and should get on with their lives rather than looking for ever more ridiculous things to have a go at. There should have been no need for apologies here. Good on Korea for actually building something a bit different for once.
What is more curious is why communist Eastern Germany is the ideal for most Korean apartment buildings. Now that is the real eyesore. Every complex in the country looks exactly the same.
Nothing to get worked up about. If the intent was to mimic the towers then at worst its tacky. You want to talk about insensitive; a few years back at a halloween party one guy came as a tower and one as a plane and the plane chased the tower around. I'm a dick and had to stifle a laugh.
Most bad government has grown out of too much government. Thomas Jefferson
Nothing outrageous about that so no.. Like Kabong, I might live there..
What's so outrageous and insensitive about it? sounds kinda gay actually, people these days. smh
There are far better reasons to get outraged man. lol How can one expect to survive in this harsh world if they are gonna get their feelings hurt and " outraged " over something like that ? It's ridiculous.
I could care less about an exploding atomic bomb.. Those japs deserved it so fuck them.
Hmm, questionable. Very questionable.
Some Japs were very wrong but let's not pretend that devastating entire urban areas is justified because they 'deserved it'. I'm sure most of them really didn't deserve to die like that. The Allies did a lot of horrid things in WW2 and that was the crowning moment of shame.
Architecturally they are kind of neat looking...HOWEVER they are a bad idea, very insensitive.
M.I.T's school of architecture has some cool buildings, they look like they are melting, like they came out of a Dali painting.
That other one out there on its own on the left looks cool too.
" outrageous and insensitive " lol..
It's just nice artwork.. Appreciate it.
Is that for real or is it just a CGI and ever going to happen?
Looks like it wants to fall over.
Not really surprising; Koreans are known as rude brutes all over Asia. They've been coming here in swarms last couple years to learn English and many Pinoys have been annoyed by their boorish ways, tending to get physical sometimes. But I always tell our pinoy folks that we ain't much better ourselves and so we're starting to get along pretty well.![]()
Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.
There are two type of Koreans.. The ones who are well off come to the U.S. and the other group go to the Philipines cuz everything is cheap over there.. Know what i mean.. KOreans change their moneys to pacels in the philipines and they could live like a king so lot of them be going over there nowadays.
You are a filipino dude so u can't be talking shit about your superiors.. There is a reason why filipinos adopt Korean dramas, tv shows etc etc ya wanna be like us so bad but u can't.. lol
South Korea= Wealthy Nation
Philipines= 3rd world country
See what i mean, know your place before you talk that shit... Dont be judging, foo..
Before you talk about Koreans being obnoxious, look at your own people cuz ya are worst... FACT
Koreans do have a bad reputation in other Asian countries. There is no denying that. Sex tourism is a problem and the Philippines has a growing number of half Korean fatherless kids to deal with. It doesn't help that public schools teach racist ideals from a very young age. The hatred for Japan is awful. Imagine everyone still hating the Germans with such vitriol. Flat out racism and an inability to move on.
Furthermore, though developed, Korea still has its own problems with wealth inequalities. The elite are doing very well, but the bulk of the middle class is based upon credit and could get swallowed up at any time. I actually encourage a property collapse as I have been sensible and don't live beyond my means. But if that does happen and it could well do so this year, then I wouldn't be so quick to mock the living standards of Philippines.
Korea is developed, but the vast majority are teetering on a knife edge. Nice apartment, big car but nothing in the bank.
