Laugh @ Cunningham " decking " Fury.. First of all, Fury walked into the punch and anybody would have got knocked down in that situation.. That sure wasn't any indication of Cunningham's punching power or Fury's chin..

When you walk into somebody's punch, umm yea you are going to get knocked down.. It's kind of like what happened when Froch walked into Grove's right hand..

Dumb move from Fury but he was not really hurt from it all.

OF course Price is a hard puncher and of course Price hits harder than Cunningham and probably Fury as well! But Price is so fucking shit I can't see him getting the full leverage on a long armed shot against someone his own size like Fury.

As for Fury's boxing, he's bloody heaps better than Price! Fury puts together combinations and fights rough. He still has decent power because of his weight, he just concentrates more on the volume than on loading up on single shots.

As if that clunking, pawing, scared shitless idiot PRice would cut the mustard here.

What about vs Thompson? Thompson is not really a hard hitting HW either and he KO'd Price!
You saw that decking from Cunningham.
What're you some sort of English teacher now?

Yeah I know, not to mention he got straight back up to beat USS up and knock him out.

He just paid a little price of temporary humiliation because he was trying to put on a show as usual.

Atleast Fury is an entertaining boxer! lol

Just look at Cooper knocking down Clay. Getting knocked down by a 180lb fighter. How embarrasing and what a shit chin

In fact, Dundee admitted cheating to get more time and keep Clay in the fight.

Yes fury has a chin just like Clay.
Did you know ross that Cunningham has never scored a knockout at HW?

How many world class fighters over 200lb did Cooper knock out?

Cunningham stopped Huck. Povetkin couldnt. Couldnt put a dent in that little cruiser weight.....

Also, yes, Fury does have a chin just like Clay and anyone else who gives away free shots.

Old @ross has made a very valid comparison here if you can't see it.

Fury gets up from a flash KD to WIN by stoppage against a 200+ opponent like Cunningham.

    WEAK CHIN

Ali gets virtually knocked out by Cooper at 185lbs!!! but got up (suspiciously) to win as well, same as Fury.

    IRON CHIN.

    See the double standards

In the past you could get smacked out left right and centre and be considered to still have a good chin and a top opponent.

These days if you get knocked down or out just once you get labelled a glass jaw and often lose contender status!

    It's ridiculous!

Not saying Fury has a great chin but I don't think he is made of glass!

Another point, I noticed how Al didn't have much to say regarding PRice's losses to Thompson.

The triangulation works that way too and imo more viably as well. I could not see Thompson handling Fury anymore like he did Price, maybe several years ago but not now.

Also if PRice had so much trouble with Thompson at his age, an opponent of similar size (not quite even), it stands to reason he would find probably more trouble against Fury right.

My opinion on Price is he has a glass jaw , and limited stamina , and Thompson was to good for him both times.

Cooper admitted he got on the scales with weights in his shorts so Clay thought he was heavier. He was 180lb when he smashed Clay in to the floor.

"Never a true heavyweight, he revealed later that he had loaded his shorts with lead at the weigh-in to give a false impression of his size and had entered the ring at no more than 12 st 12 lb"

What on earth doe Henry Cooper and Mohammed Ali have to do with Steve Cunningham and Tyson Fury ?

While certainly not the greatest, Ali was at times a sublime boxer something neither Fury or Cunningham can ever lay claim to. Even a clearly limited Henry Cooper was on another scale completely compared to the shocking lack of boxing prowess demonstrated by Fury. Cunningham is not the first and will not be the last to put Fury on his backside but you are digressing. The thread is about Price and yes Price has been knocked down but he has far more power than Fury and had the balls to test himself against a proven genuine heavyweight like Thompson twice. Fury continues to pussy foot around and gob off whilst facing nobodies like Abel and his deluded fans lap it up. He is a dirty fighter who has to rely on cheating to make up for his puny weight to power ratio. If Cooper had hit him he would not be getting back up and if Price ever hit him he would disintegrate. He has not improved or moved on at all, the guy is a joke and people think that is entertaining ?

As if Cooper could even reach Fury's chin and as if Henry Cooper could pop as hard as fucking Cunningham! What rot!

Yeah the first time Price faced a high quality opponent he got pasted twice!

Fury TRIED to face a top tier HW remember and the mother fucker pulled out with a lacerated eye! Not his fault is it!

Fury calls out everybody! Even Klitschko! Can you imagine David Price calling out Klitschko or Haye? Ha! It would not even be worth the response!
