My question is: Why can't they fight each other now in order to develop name recognition n demand for those two to fight the winner? It was the same when Oscar was the cash cow in the late nineties. How many fights were lost when Quartey, Tito, Sweet Pea, Norris...etc., waited for the big money fight vice fighting each other? Manny and Floyd have both fought some tough competition to get to their level, Thurman n Porter should do the same.
What's with this "Manny and Floyd" bullshit

They are on a different level headed in different directions.

Let Manny fight somebody at Welter that isn't with TR or just moving from 140.

Manny is the one that should fight Thurman or Porter.

    Floyd is a pussy.
Someone will say Pac is a pussy and we end up in a slanging match when in reality the promoters know we put up with 2nd rate fights and pay top doller prices.
the reason I say it is before they both wanted the fight and blamed the other and now it seems just Pac wants the fight and Floyd just dismisses it
These two are still the best weltwerweights in the world and the fight should still be made. Every other fight is just a waste of time.
Pac has not PROVEN he's the 2nd best WW..

JMM is ranked higher at WW than Pactrash...he put that shit to sleep at WW.
Since then JMM has lost to Bradley and Pac Man has beaten Bradley so he is now the 2nd best welterweight. Simple.
JMM losing to Bradley doesn't erase the coma-induced ass-whipping he put on Pactrash.

Manny is not the 2nd best WW by beating lil Timmy.

PLENTY guys at WW will beat Bradley....and a LOT worse than Manny did.

That spot has to earned not gifted to him by dumbass fair-weather so called fans.
Why are you getting so upset? You seem to have a lot of anger issues. What happened to make you so cross?

    JMM....we already know that

Thurman for sure...soon as Pac covers up One Time would blast those ribs.

    Porter

Manny wants no parts of those real WW's.

That's why he's fighting/cherrypicking Algeri..Pac is just riding out the rest of his career without getting KTFO again.

But Pacquiao already beat the guy (Bradley) that beat Marquez

Thurman? Maybe but he has looked a little chinny

Porter ? Again maybe but lets see how he goes against Brook first

Whilst the best Pac Man 2009 has gone, he is still the best challenge for Floyd. It is still the best fight out there.

I'm hearing Algieri is asking for too much cash and the bout is in jeopardy

No bad thing for people who want to see a decent fight against someone better.

Pacquiao vs Algieri is official for Nov 22 in Macau, China at 147. Real disappointed here not a solid match up Algieri loses in every way he gets KO'd or loses on the cards since he won't get a decision over Pac in Macau.

Won't get another gift for running n getting dropped twice no.

It's a complete waste of a fight. Total garbage.

i wouldnt mind this fight if it werent PPV. no way is this at all PPV worthy and anybody who buys it should be ashamed of themselves. as i stated in my earlier post, people talk about floyd cherry picking fights, but pac has been way worse. floyd would get his head ripped off by fans for even mentioning an algeri fight.

So Thurman and Porter are not good opponents for Pac?

Arum must be getting huge money from the casinos in Macau to serve this shit up. It's a rubbish opponent and it's in Macau so it's going to do really low US PPV numbers.

Manny is moving down in weight to see if he can still spark 140 pounders. Probably Manny as an exciting KO fighter is worth a lot of money in Macau and Asia so that's where they're going with his career if a Marquez fight doesn't happen.
