He's willing to make the fight in the UK too. That would be good? Wilder has a big task this weekend though, so he shouldn't overlook Stiverne.

That's not what I took away from that article but that's not important.
Do you think Fury would take the fight with Wilder?

Woddle...walk...then run Deontay. First things first...take a punch and adversity and triumph.

As much as I'd like to also floor it on a one lane empty highway...eventually you'll hit the ocean and need to prove you can swim ashore

I think Fury would take the fight with anyone. I like Fury now. He is what the division needs. Not his style, but the division needs a guy like him on any given night!

Fury is nothing but a supersized Muhammad Ali. Same tippy tap style.

Unfortunately the division isn't populated by Henry Coopers or Joe Fraziers anymore, it's got Wilders.

Fury might outbox him, but since Fury's defence+chin himself isn't too great and Wilder has the harder shot I can see this being a rather great road block for Fury.

    Wilder KO Fury

even though Fury is technically a better boxer

I agree, absolutely. Fury would fight anyone between him and Wald, I think he actually gets pissed off if other fighters think they can beat him.
I also think he is becoming smarter about fights. He knows as he moves up that each fight is much more important than the last. So I'm thinking he will listen to his advisors, therefore Fury is probably more than willing to anyone, but his advisors aren't.
Hopefully we'll get a chance to find out!

At least it's better talk than bringing Mike Tyson out of retirement

Don King has basically announced he is now senile with his Tyson comment.

Fury and Wilder would be the quickest knocked out supers for Wladimir out of all the contenders because they have no chins.

Povetkin, Pulev, Stiverne and Arreola can all take a good punch so they are more solid competition.

Haye couldn't take the power either but his skills and athleticism and reflexes are such that he is highly competitive.

Old school thinking, call out the ones at the top, then go for it, rather than Whoever my promoter wants me to fight spiel.

He says that though but it's taken 33 fights to fight somebody with a pulse

    True, but I understand why.

Olympians Luis Yanez, RauShee Warren, GARY Russell JR, Demetrius Andrade
were touted as the best Olympians. Raynell Williams, Sadam Ali & Javier Molina and I think even Shawn Estrada all had way more amatuer fights overall then Wilder.

Yet the least skilled or experienced amatuer shall I say- pulled a medal.

So for those who say football players wouldn't make good boxers should know that was Wilder's goal.
But he turned to boxing knowing he could make some money- where NCAA football wasnt a guarantee he'd make it..so he turned amatuer in 2005? And won a medal in 2008? Tam you would know way better than I how difficult that is...you're a fighter.

There was no skill he could have accumulated IMO to win the medal- that was heart, will power and KO power. No fundamentals -just On the job training..& Mark Breland know this,- give him a heepin' of tomato cans, build his confidence- but his power keeps him from gaining rounds..So that IMO is why they have taken so long to get here...but guess what?
    He's here now!

Well, well, well! It seems that we're all a bunch of BS artists, I didn't see one prediction that was close to what actually happened in the Wilder vs Stiverne fight. Lol
Wilder proved he can fight for twelve rounds, that he can take a punch, that he can box with some skill, and that his money punch is the jab not that big right hand.
After this performance do you think Fury and his team are more inclined or less inclined to fight Wilder. Wilder has a belt now, and has proven himself against another decent HW.
