Just saw this has been announced a few places. Sept 17th on HBO and Canelo will go back to 154 for it. Must admit this is the Smith brother I haven't seen, how good is he? Pretty safe to bet Canelo won't be fighting GGG now I'd think.

Ah didn't check that out sorry, obviously this was going to happen then. Not to impressed just watching a few clips of Liam Smith, looks like a mismatch.

I like Liam Smith, and I think he's a decent fighter, but here he's being served up to the dogs and is likely to get bashed up in this fight. He's young, and I hope that if he is starting to ship too many shots, the corner pulls him out.

Oh great. Looks like Canelo wants to get all blush in the face and be a tough guy again. What a chump. Respect to Smith but it's a bit like a spoiled brat storming into a toy store and demanding a discount. Nice chunk of change and spotlight for Liam but he should put a bow on the box of that trinket. So much for being too big for jr middleweight eh red?
