Martin comes out hard early 10th and shakes Artem! James told him you're not doing enough! Headbutt and Martin pressing hard for it here.

Big 10th for Martin. He needs to separate things here in final two.

Martin 11th. Artem down end of round ref calls slip. Rocked again and bangs gloves together. Like to see Martin mash the gas final round! It's there

Artem goes for the upper'headbutt. Nice. Martin with a mean streak could be a very bad dude. Artem takes a knee! Up and all but done

big twelfth for frank, art takes a knees with less than a minute left. art survives to the final bell. i have frank winning by five points. lots of close rounds but frank should win

Martin beat the brakes off of him last few rounds. Tale of two fights type scenario on cards? Can see that. 7-5 drawish tbh either way for once. Tough fight

Crazy when we live today where a talent like Martin has to call this fight "an off night" for some reason. Did he lose. Good scrap but being honest...why the fook are they interviewing Artem calling out Haney and best fighters etc

Post fight seg was totally backwards with the two

Was really surprised at the backlash Martin received. More than obvious that Harutyunyan proved to be more capable and skilled than given credit for by many fans going in..self included..and you started to get that feel before the bell even rang. A tough competitive fight is what unfolded and what every young talent needs coming up. Not like this was a 'showcase' type opponent that was taking rounds early. Nothing new fan wise but we tend to lose perspective. Guys with 15,16 fights are either "the next Goat" or "overhyped and exposed" if they go distance and adjust to overcome adversity . Exactly what Martin did after figuring some new looks and a skilled tough opponent out. Really do think he'll do nothing but improve.

i agree that some of these fans go overboard with the exposed & over hyped nonsense. & then they'll complain that a fighter is not taking real tests. some of the blame falls on the fighters, promoters & fans, franks been calling out all the top lightweights. better to stay humble, take these opportunities & improve & be ready when a big fight presents itself

Martin adapted & came on late to pull out a close one
Harutyunyan looked to be a very well schooled fighter
I think the corner advise was incorrect early for Martin, advising to sit back & counter
Martin showed that he was more affective when aggressive & attacking
I also think this fight will make Martin a better fighter
