I think it's good to be versatile and Floyd definately is, but recently he doesn't seem to be effective. His power isn't deceptive at this weight, granted it's not as bad as Boldizar. If he continues down this path of 147 and up he'll never have the respect most P4P kings have and he shouldn't as long as he's being stubborn fighting above his weight. When people watch the supposed best in the world they don't expect a feather puncher, so you can't be suprised that noone outside of the boxing world knows his name. He should be showcasing the best of himself at this point in his career, instead he's consciously choosing to do whats not in his best interest. I only say this cause I'm a fan of Floyd and don't wanna see em get fucked over by himself.

Although I'm gonna laugh my ass off if Oscar announces his last bout will be with Trinidad, Floyds heart/bank account will break

We haven't seen Floyd lose yet, so I'd bet on him to win by decision. PBF is just as good as a young Mosley, who beat Oscar twice by decision. We all know he doesn't have the power, and at 154, he won't be as fast, but he still will beat Oscar to the punch.

Floyd is versitile but he needs to be consistant. He doesn't know if he's a boxer or puncher or etc. He was a boxer when he fought Sosa, and since then he has been trying to be like a power fighter who knocks out his opponents to be more exciting. That is going to get him beat one day.

I think it is actually common for boxer/boxers that move up in weight to look like they are trying to be punchers in the higher divisions simply because they lose some of their pop and have to plant their feet more in order to get the same results.

I think Floyd will be fine at 147, especially if he don't lose for a year, and has time to settle into the weight. Then he will be unstoppable, but now he is vulnerable. 147 is his max though.

To answer the question, no Mayweather wouldn't stand up to that. He would duck slip and move out of the way. He'd only get caught if he pulled that stupid shat and dropped his hands.
