Even if it works the way I explained it that would still be off because my spin on it was based on Jordan making people around him better! And you said the complete opposite a couple post before, challenging us to find someone who Jordan made better.
    Exactly.

And it's irrelevant anyways because whether or not Jordan was the greatest player is beside the point.

like i said. I applauded him for knowing where I was coming from in the arguement and offering up what he did. and gave him a cc

I DID NOT agree with him

And in the post below I offere up my disagreement to what he said.

Then I said I believe Lew Alcindor to be the greatest player to ever play in the NBA not Jordan.

Then you came in like you knew me when everything you said about the situation was wrong. So apprently you DON'T know me

I did that to see who really knew basketball and who was just speaking from their arse. The first person to say "WHO THE *** Was LEW ALCINDOR HE IS NOT GREATER." Just my way of finding out.

And my arguement to you is that the teammates made Jordan better as well in a way. Because I do not think he would have won those championships alone. He tried, and you saw what happened I think his teammates were a huge focal point. And I DO think he depended on Scottie. I think if he hadn't then they wouldn't have won those championships.

And I think it works both ways because I don't see Jordan winning a championship without Scottie. And it was PROVEN that Scottie couldn't do it without Jordan.

    1. You're not making any sense at all. Just because you start your sentences with "then" doesn't mean that the points follow. Remember where this thread started. You wanted to bash Lebron so that you could boost up Kobe. Then you went off on a tangent bashing MJ to prop up Kobe. Then you threw in this curveball about Kareem, who's not even the best player to ever play his position (Oscar Robertson and Wilt are both widely recognized there--there's a legitimate argument for Shaq as well). How that proves that Kobe isn't a ball hog is beyond me, really. So if that's what you're saying when you claim I just don't get it, I guess I'm guilty as charged.

    2. You don't have to know shit about basketball to know that Lew Alcindor is Kareem. Plenty of complete non-fans know that. I don't know who you think you're weeding out, but if you can't come up with a better test than that it's probably because you don't know enough to do so.

I'm not gonna test your knowledge. And I already presented an arguement with SecondRoundKO. You mr Raja Bell aren't involved. It's an A B conversation, C your way out of it

And FYI I didn't bash LeBron and I didn't knock his skills. I just didn't let you degrade Kobe

It's true, you do need 5 to field a team.

Right, when he was an old man. Excellent point. Great comparison. Accounting for all the variables. Impressive.

You could exchange Scottie for plenty of other decent players and MJ still would have led the team to championships. As to the other players, I've already pointed out that none of them were on all 6 of those teams, so it's been demonstrated that those guys were not essential.

You strongly insinuated that he'd be "another Vince Carter." You also said that he idolizes Kobe, which is a bash if I've ever heard one.

So you're just gonna disregard 85-90 of his career when he tried to do it singlehandedly *

He's right about Wilt being being better than Kareem. But to say Shaq was, is just plain stupidity.

I said Shaq was arguable. I notice you didn't respond to Oscar though--are you going to back off your "Kareem's the G.O.A.T."?
