There mediocre at best. He has no power, his chin is average and he's a good but not great boxer. He's is not championship material.

You just basically described Jermain Taylor, with the exception of power.

I dont see how you can say that Taylor is not championship caliber. Wether you agree with the decisions of his last three fights or not, he has hung with the best p4p fighters at his weight in three bouts in a row. He has dones something right so far.

This is a more realistic progress fight for Mora, who remember has only had 18 fights.
Agreed. I hope Regan kicks the crap outta that arrogant bitch!
Yeah, last I heard you had to work your way up to fight the Middleweight champ...I don't see how Mora is even being considered. Yeah, he beat Manfredo who had a beefed up 25-0 record before the Contender fighting nobody's. And that is Moras claim to fame. Only reason I would consider wanting this fight is to see Mora take a lot of punishment.. But like someone else mentioned, he cuts easyily and therefore won't likely see past round 6 even if he isn't KTFO by then!

In my opinion what he did right was sign Dibella, and get groomed by HBO because thats the only way he got those decisions. I credit Jermain for hanging tough with those p4p guys but hanging is one thing, I can't respect it as greatly being that he should have at least 2 losses on his record. He'd get more respect if he'd got those losses rather then handed those wins just so he could keeps his uds.

Personally...I don't think Taylor learned jack shat from his fights with Hopkins because he didn't show it in his fight with Wright & he'll have to find someone very lax if he's going to impress the next go round.

Thing is, this fight was setup as a chimp fight for JT, but, I see it like this, Mora has nothing to lose by losing to JT, JT has everything to lose by looking like shit or even losing to Mora....

You all think JT is going to Knock out Mora, I also remember alot of you talkin about how bad JT was going to beat the hell out of Winky....So, take a look at the whole picture, If you dont think JT will have a problem with Mora's style, you have to be crazy...If JT corrects his mistakes from the Wright fight, I see JT, MAYBE, pulling off a Decision win....

I am not going to count Mora out of this fight, he has shown adaptability and the will to win when the underdog....I have to show some support to a fighter like this...

So, if Mora goes the whole fight with JT, it could hurt JT even more as the Champ and his credibility to take out an easy fighter.....

Also, Look at most fighters today, ALL of their records are beefed up...

JT has only had 3 tough fights out of the past 5... With the exception of the Joppy fight, JT has nothing but a beefed up record...And Joppy was on his way out as a contender as is...

    Good luck,

    Coach

Yeah, I can't see this fight happening...however, after checking mora is the 6th ranked MW which suprised me; it's a lot higher than I thought he'd be.

When I first saw the title Mora vs. Taylor i though it was a theoretical fantasy match made by a Mora fan (They must be out there somewhere )

Calzaghe would whip em all from 160 lb to 175 lb.

He's a different league to all the others out there.
