Hey Coach, I'm surprised that you apologized to these nerds but I understand you're trying to be the bigger man. These guys in here expect everyone to kiss Floyds ass or whoever their fav fighters may be. Most guys that more sc than cc like me, it's because they have their own opinions and not other posters or so called boxing analysts or experts. All they care about is kissing up and trying to earn cc's. The reason I have been posting here for over a year and don't have 300 posts yet is because I don't just yap about whatever. I only say something when I really feel it. You're a class guy Coach and I have disagrred with many things you said but I'm impressed by your dicipline and I hope that you're making that a big part of what you teach.

Sorry if the point has already been mentioned but i couldn't read anymore after page 2 but i wouldn't worry about floyd retiring.

In his interview straight after the fight with larry merchant he was say he wanted to keep fighting the best and racking up the victories. I think he was just hurt by everyones reactions to the fight. He also said that he wasn't as worried about money anymore so hopefully he'll take a fair offer from ODLH and begin to build his all time greatest legacy which hate him or love him you know he has the skills to be

    Thank you for the compliment...

I instill in my young fighters that there is more to life than lying down and taking one up the ass....I hate to use that expression, but, its true...

The youth of today dont realize what it means to have to work for something, because most of what they get is handed to them to either shut them up or buy their love...

When I watch 16 y.o. kids driving around in $30k autos, it sickens me to see that the parents have actually let it come to that in life for them....Then when something like Columbine happens, the parents go into a frenzie to blame it on shit, besides themselves and what they teach to their child by handing them everything in life, smacking their hands instead of whipping that ass and by serving their every wish to them...I dont know about alot of you, but I wouldnt be alive today if I ever talked out of line, expected everything in life or demanded my parents to buy me whatever I wanted...For one thing, my Mom would have beat my ass...Then when Dad got home, it was a double ass whoopin....some of you know what I mean...

Boxing is a sport that teaches a strict discipline that can be used in everyday life....FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!!!

I learned it an early age, it worked for me, so....I am passing it on to the youth around me....

I stay disciplined to what I am, because if I become easy to fold to my surroundings, the youth I work with will do the same and fold to peer pressure when it comes to drugs, sex and things like gangs and extreme violence....When they see that I can stay true everyday, stick by the things I say and stay honest and dependable to people I am involved with, they will follow the example...

When I come on here and say things or make opinions about fighters, I stick to those, because they are my views and opinions. I dont beg for people to aggree, I set the example to people to make their own decisions and stick to them....

    Good Luck,

    Coach
