Give it up on Kid Diamond man! Zab Judah, he's tight, I'm a fan too. But Diamond? He's a one dimensional little punk, fukin liar too. Claiming that he made Floyd Mayweather quit in sparring a couple years back, and challenging him to a street fight. Plus claiming he knocked down Cory Spinks in sparring. He's so full of shat. Nate Campell thrashed him and I was damn happy to see him do it.

I thought his decision over Casamayor was the worst Joel's ever been shafted as well, although it's close between that and Freitas.. Castillo fight really could have gone either way.. Also interestingly enough Casamayor imo may have been gifted a decision of his own over Nate Campbell.. Nate can be a great fighter when he shows up.

Oh he lost to Nate Campbell. Nate beat both he and Kid Diamond's asses. Diamond got it worse than Casamayor though, much worse. Sucker quit with less than 30 seconds left in the fight. Cambell is a bad ass when he's on. Ever see his rematch with Tiger Martinez?

I think it was Kid Ds jab that won the fight for him. IMO this fight was a classic example of how a jab can stabilize an opponent. Agustus tried to fight more conventionally at first, but was beaten to the punch every time with sharp jabs.

It appeared that Augustus just wasn't himself, but in actuality the jab completely took him out of rhythm and actually stabilized him out of being an awkward fighter. He was then easy to find and the table was set for Kid Ds right hands.

Perhaps Augustus would have been better served to have started out with his antics. Then Kid D might have gotten mad and frustrated and abandoned the jab in an attempt to blast Augustus. That would have given Augustus the chance to make him miss and counter him as he lunged in. That was the MO I was expecting.

Once Kid D got his rhythm, though, he looked pretty sharp to me!

I think Augustus finally got old. It is sad to see because it seems like his body has just had enough. He fought the beast, was in wars with many of them. Hell, if he retired after the Ward fight he would have been justified, but at this point the show must come to an end. Good luck to him.

Yeah he was losing to Rangel until he sling shotted himself off the ropes in the tenth round and dropped Rangel, then stopped him. I like Rangel myself. He got screwed over big time in his last fight on Shobox, he deserved to win that fight, but the judges screwed him.
