    well blu-ray DVD is the competition of the HD-DVD. Blu Ray stores up to 50GB of data while the HD DVD can go as high as 25 to 30 I think. The benefit of the blu ray players is that thay can read normal DVD's while the HD-DVD player can only read HD-DVD's. I got hooked looking for info since Santa bring me 50inch Plasma but it's 1080i not full HD with is 1080p with is the reaso Blu ray is out there.

    Butthe prices are too high so I think I will wait untill the price go down at least for $350 or $400 since the sony blu ray right now is from $850 to $950

    $850 -$ 950 DaMn . I was always wondering why my HDTV didnt look as good with the DVD player i got. as it does with the HDTVcable upgrade . now I gotta buy this bluray shit.. see thats how they put the britches on yeah. you buy the TV.. then you gotta upgrade every damn thing ! 7k and now another ass load of expense.

    Well you can always use the component video cable and set your DVD to progressive scan that always help het a good image or at least better that's what I do the Movie Lord of the Rigs looks great and also Kids movie with computer generated animations in progressive scan look great. Specially Cars and My fav. Over the hedge I walwys put tha movie for my little price for her to watch but to tell you the truth is for me

    yeah i got a line that runs thru the screen when i play DVD on the HDTV. I know shit about hook up . I'll get one of the kids from the gym to hook it up like what you said. thanks for your assistance .

    CC! I'VE BEEN TRYING TO REMEMBER THE NAME OF THAT MOVIE FOREVER AND KEPT FORGETTING TO LOOK IT UP.

    That's just an awesome movie. It's story is true but one guy who contributed greatly was NBA referee Bob DeLaney. You can read a bit about his ordeal here it's almost just as amazing as the one in the movie.

    Another movie I have in me collection is called

    Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) Jack Lemmon, Al Pacino, Kevin Spacey - I love this movie. the acting is brilliant ! you will thoroughly enjoy !
