That is a great clip of Holmes and Witherspoon. Larry looks almost desperate at times, although he sometimes does. Tim is walking him down yet Larry is beating him to the punch. What do you guy think would have happen if Larry fought Tim in 1985 in a rematch?

Witherspoon would of won simple reason is in 1985 Holmes skills had diminished badly by then.

Have a couple that I'm sure not many have seen but are among my favorites.

Ebo Elder versus Courtney Burton was entertaining bell to bell.

Jose Andres Hernandez versus Antonio Escalante is another one.

It's one of boxing's most famous, but I seldom see it mentioned here, but Yvon Durrelle versus Archie Moore. All time great bout.

Wayne Braithwaite versus Guillermo Jones was a tremendous back and forth thriller cut short by a terrible stoppage. But that had FOTY qualities, both had each other hurt numerous times.

Calzaghe versus Mitchell was also a good fight cut short by a ref stoppage again though I think Calzaghe was beginning to take over.

Morales versus Espadas was a good back and forth fight that was a bit soured by the controversial decision.

But perhaps topping them all is William Page versus Jose Luis Lopez. Absolute slugfest, both fighters wobbled each other half a dozen times each, truly a great fight that I saw just for the first time a couple weeks ago after downloading it randomly a long time ago. Excellent fight. If only they had not had that damned logo in the middle of the ring

Page was in control in most of that fight and would land solid blows but every once in a while Lopez would land one punch and just have Page out on his feet and hurt for half the round. it was almost like a regular occurrence. In the second round he landed a HUGE right hand, not sure how Page stayed up but then he got dropped a little later on. But yeah I haven't seen much of Lopez but he had a punch and that's what made the fight so exciting.
