    Round 10:

Good body shots from Simpson, but Matthews is still rubbing the cut on the blind side of the ref. Good right from Simpson, but Matthews jabs twice again. Two jabs and a right from Simpson Mor jabs and Derry's on the back foot. Body hsot from Simpson, but a right from Matthews. Simpson forcing that jab up again. Matthews rugby tackles Simpson down then sswings as he gets up. How is he still in the. Jab straight right from Matthews. Good right from Simpson again. Jab from Simpson. Straight right from Matthews, and he's scratched the cut open again i nthe clinch. Good jab from Simpson on the bell. He's thrown the better punches in that round, and moves further ahead IMO.

    Round 11:

Matthews' corner sounds very worried, if this gets stopped on the cut it'll be a disgrace. Double jab from Simpson, but Matthews pciks him off with a jab of his own. Another double jab from Simpson. Matthews jabs but misses with a haymaker right hand. Good jab right from Matthews. Hard jab from Matthews, and Matthews comes in with a couple of hooks, and Simpson clings on. Jab connects from Simpson. Good jab right from Matthews. Matthews rubs the cut with his head. Matthews picks him off with two hooks as Simpson lunges. Matthews warned again by the ref.

    Matthews' round
106-104 for me, but the Commentators have Matthews getting rd 10 too.

    Round 12.

What a cracker!!! Simson with a jab. Matthews pawing but not connecting, and a body shot from Simpson. Jabs exchanged. It's a pickem really. Simpson with a good right,. Jab from Simpson, Matthews is on the run. Jab from Matthews. Simpson with a body shot. ANother Simpson jab. Anbd another. Matthews with a jab and a right whci grazes simpson's ear. Matthews with a jab and a right cross. Flurry by Matthews, and MAtthews nearly wrestled Simpson down. Good right from Simpson. Standoff, and Simpson with the jab. Good jab from Simpson.

Simpson took it for me by 3, at 116-113, but what will the hometown advantage give Derry Matthews? Duke Mckenzie has Simpson by two, and the commentator has Matthews. McGuigan has a draw.

Whatever the result now, Simpson has been so brave, and Matthews ws a little dirty. REMATCH, REMATCH!!!!

118-112, 117-110, 113-111. Matthews. Let me check the maths....but Matthews got two points deducted and a knockdown. How does he end up with 118 point, or even 117 points? I can see Siompson being entirely justified in feeling aggrieved with those two scores, and he got stiffed in the margin of the scores.

Duke Mackenzie needs a fucking new prescription both of them have been talking complete shite all night, Derry won that very easily despite the knockdown and how in the hell did they have M'baye winning? Plus the little snidey comment that M'baye v Kotelnik was better than Hatton v Urango and Hatton fans won't hear a bad word said about they're fighter. ITV has become Frank Warren's talking ring piece.

FFS dan, i can't believe you had Matthews by a wide margin after he's four points down before you tot up the other rounds. Simpson put up a vey good fight, and picked up at least a few rounds you must admit.

Well, one of the rounds were Derry got deducted was still 9-9 Simpson faught well but was easily outlanded and spoiled. Brave attempt but really not much coming from Simpson really, just Mackenzie and the other idiot talking complete bollocks.

I'll have to watch the fight again but i thought simpson only won one round under his own steam, and obviously the 10-8 first round, which by my calcualtions make it 115-111 , 10 rounds to 2 without deductions, not exactly a whitewash but nothing like the robbery or close scrape the ITV crew would have you believe.

It was another tight fight from last night, and I just think they're being a bit childish, cause Mbaye had a few good rounds of the back foot and popping the jab and fending Kotelnik off. While Kotelnik was definitely throwing the more damaging punches, I don't have a problem with the way the judges called it, except for the one who had Kotelnik way ahead.

I thought Kotelnik pissed it Mbaye did little effective work his punches were either blocked or slipped. Kotelnik ran the show, Mbaye was inneffective on the back foot and was leaving the parish to avoid the punch, and was catching the wrong bus to get back in. bad decision.
