Well this in ONLY the start, I mean his 1st BIG tv appearance, Joe was being blown up waaaayyyyy before he did anything BIG on tv....
Somethings got to come out of his major appearance, you know the way! it was intended to be for Joe when he faced Bika but it didn't happen cause he just didn't have it that night.....

Two wide open fighters imo and made him look a LOT better than you seem to think he is.
Surely you gotta rate Mundine as a prominent opponent, right?
Beyer was there to fight, why not fight him.... Joe decided to fight Bika as his coming out party, who else should Kess have fought? Plus he could pick up another belt if he won so why not?
Andrade wasn't suppose to be wide open, if you see the 1st few rounds Andrade was doing better early. To me as I said it was the bright lights and all that was just to much for Andrade and Kess took advantage of that....

He is exciting to watch, he looks hungry and ready to go all the time....

Theres a really good chance of him becoming champ. one day hes def. got the tools to accomplish that...

About Joe I somewhat agree Joe is superior then Kess in some departments as I replied to paddy448 yesterday.....
About Froch well one can also say who has Froch beat that's better or is more reputable then Mundine, Beyer and Andrade?
Until Froch steps his opponents quality to top 10 to 15 you really can't say much other then the kids got a future.....
I would like to see Kessler fight Alejandro Berrio.

Don't believe for a second that JC is ducking but simply going the cash route first with a tailor made fight
Can't blame the fella really as he is by no means rich for someone of his incredible 10 year unbeaten reign.

Please. Froch's the one who's getting blown up.

You act like Froch's a world beater when he's only dismantling has been contenders. Froch's first 5 opponents had 186 losses between them...his last 5 opponents had 21 losses between them & hardly reputable names.

    Kessler? 11 & 14.

Sure...everyone's gotta start somewhere & there are descrepencies abound...but none as laughable as those.

I think it's easy to see who's being fed a steady diet of "whut-evuh!" on this one. Support your fighter...but gotdam...let's keep it real.
Kessler's first 5 opponents had 48 fights between them. Froch's had 250. All your numbers show is Froch started his career against experienced journeymen, Kessler started against fellow novices.

And using current form lines Froch has the beating of Kessler.

Froch beat Henry Porras quicker than Kessler. Kessler beat a guy - Andre Thysse - in 11 that Brian Magee beat in 10. Froch STOPPED Brian Magee.
Froch lost more rounds in one single fight against Brian Magee than Mikkel Kessler has done in 39 fights
