Even if Don King isn't in charge of this guy I doubt there won't be a few keep-busy, cash-cow bouts against either has-beens, wanna-bes or Audley Harrison, just to add to his longevity and profitability.Originally Posted by SalTheButcher

The Marciano curse strikes again! As soon as people start talking about a guy breaking it, he loses his next fight

Cahgaev like Valuev has only won very close fights against the good fighters in the division. Either guy is hardly domanant but I dont think we have seen the last of Valuev. he deserves another shot down the line maybe a rematch. Chagaev would beat Oleg but his hands would be full vs Peter or Wlad imo but he could beat Wlad if he put the pressure on

Jimmy Saville looking motherfucker!
Nice one! I cant wait to see the full fight. Would you say it was one of Valuev's best fights?Originally Posted by SalTheButcher
it was a better one for sure, he got hit more then usual, and he adjusted his approach a few times, he was in real good shape too, the best ive ever seen him in
ive seen him a bunch of times and other then the fact that there was no KO this was more entertaining then his other fights
I think thats due to the fact that Chagaev was not afraid to go into the Dragons mouth meaning he was willing to trade and attack 1st.Originally Posted by SalTheButcher
When most of the other guys that fought him would let Valuev throw 1st and waited on him. Chagaev did't do so instead he fired off 1st anf then moved out of the way and started over.
Something tells me this is the end of Valuev.

Yeah by the sounds of it Chagaev was in no way intimidated by the size of Valuev and I think thats why most of his opponents have been reluctant to attack as often as they would.Originally Posted by CutMeMicK
Thanks for the highlights...Valuev looked pretty good in the one flurry, but it seemed that Chagaev was the more consistent, and he did very well to overcome the size difference. Maybe Valuev is better over shorter distances, and could fight for the WBA 4-Round World Championship Cup against Butterbean?
Gives him no more reason to dodge the good fighters of the division anymore......soon he'll be another Jameel McClineOriginally Posted by CutMeMicK
