Fair enough mate, it takes two to rumble.. David had torn cartilage ( ribs ) 2 weeks prior to the match from sparring, he fought anyway, never talked about it or made an excuse like so many other fighters do, David did well until up until he re injured the ribs in R 3 , Tua still pressed on the entire match .
He caught Lewis few times in early going rocking him few times but after that it got boring defensive fight typical of Lewis

this is why i found lewis to be rather boring for his play it safe style and fighting behind the LOOOOOOOOOONG DISTANCE jab all night. very smart yes, but entertaining??

what i dont get is white wolf gave us the most exciting HW fight we saw in years right before this one against brewster?

maybe he still didnt recover from it or was just plain out of shape and not ready?

I totally agree with Tua/Lewis. Lewis knew about the injury, and cracked him once to the ribs to slow him down. After that, he was dancing with the stars. I like the last round, when Lewis started throwing some pitty-pat combos to try to make up for the Waltz they did all night.

Muhammed Ali vs Chuck Wepner was pretty stunning in it's dullness.

Terrible, terrible fight.
I remember that, what the hell were they doing? I looked like the video was on the fritz and froze.

Man, really sounds like I lucked out. I was on a bit of a boxing break when that fight happened, only saw the last 10 seconds.

    Here are a few.

    Chris Byrd - Davryll Williamson
This went up against some HBO card, I think Tarver's 3rd victory over Jones. Garbage. GARBAGE. I like Byrd but he did NOTHING. Honestly, NOTHING. I thought Williamson won the fight on that halfass jab of his he would throw 10 times a round.

Touch of Sleep is correct. Bullshit fight.

Jose Luis Castillo - Rolando Reyes
Never seen a more scared fighter then Reyes on TV. Castillo was cracking jokes and telling the booing fans that the guy won't fight but Castillo wasn't exactly relentless himself.

Ok, just typed this all up and realized that this is just for title fights.

    Demetrius Hopkins - Mario Ramos
Ramos might be the most boring fighter out there. His bout with the Peterson brother was excruciatingly boring as well.

    Audley Harrison - Dominick Guinn
Ok, so Guinn TRIED to make it a fight, but no other fight has made me genuinely angry like this one. Honestly, I was pulling my hair out it was just a painful display. I will never watch Audley again. He might be the only case of boxing in which I will just turn the TV off and say No I'm not watching. Unless it's a Youtube clip of him getting KTFO

    Junior Witter - Collin Lynes
And people say he could beat Hatton ahahahaha

Thanks to this thread I have lost all faith in boxing and am retiring from the forum to watch WWE. With everything choreographed you don't really get a boring bout there.

Actually, I'll just watch Barrera v Marquez again, cause that is boxing at it's very best.

cc Chis is a nice guy, He has a very nice family mom and dad are top notch,, exciting he is not... anytime a fighter comes out with an open palms stance. the match is gonna be a suck fest ! you can bank on it !

I remember that fight and yeah Retes was in awe of Castillo. It was like Castillo was his daddy and he stole a dollar from his wallet and was afraid pops would break out the belt. Really a sad performance for a Title fight. But it did ruin his career imo so he paying for it.
