I'm never drinking again (I am a liar)
R.I.P Diego you were a true warrior!
When I heard this news my heart sunk.....I met Diego about a half dozen times and interviewed him a few times as well......Diego was a true gentleman when he spoke...Always respectful and a very humble man...never obnoxious.....Very soft spoken.....one of my favorite fighters to deal with...
I'll miss his performence's in the ring...He had the heart of a champion even when he lost...
My best goes out to his family....

ESPN did a great article on the man. A true warrior. May he rest in peace!![]()
I just read the news and I'm stunned. I really don't know what to say. This guy gave more to this sport than he really had to. Always looked for the big fights and always stood toe to toe just to give fans their money's worth. I will forever be proud to have seen this man fight. A true credit to the sport.
R.I.P. Chico, you were the man and you will not be forgotten.
Terrible news
May he live on in our memories
RIP

I was just reflecting now about how just 2 months ago a similar incident happened here where I live. My wife works with a woman who had a two week old first child and her Fiancé died in a motorcycle accident. It was totally devastating for her and the whole family. With some great family support she is getting on ok but it was just horrible for them and everyone. When I read what everyone is saying about Diego, and the vast majority like me who have never met him it makes me wonder what the people who were close to him must be going through. My thoughts go out to his kids, his wife and his family. The greatest loss is to them followed by a great loss to the boxing world. R.I.P.

I am extremely saddened to hear this. motorcycles can be very dangerous.
RIP diego you accomplished a hell of a lot during your time here, more than most can ever dream.
