Larios lasted 12 with Pacquiao and Solis made it to the 8th. I guess you think both of those fighters are better defensively and have better chins than Floyd.
pac pretty much took out solis when he felt like it, that was when the cut came he decided hmm....let me get my cut look at so yea i'll turn up the heat a bit and get rid of this guy solis. and yea pac took larios to 12 because he wanted to so his countryman had plenty of time to watch him in action
    This is hilarious.
What's sad is that I think you actually believe it's true. Wow.
Well ... you actually believe that Mayweather would KO Pac. Wow. So I think its fair to call it quits between you and Julius :-) ... Mayweather would be tough and the fight could go either way, but he aint gonna kO Pac in any round
How are you so sure? Pacquiao has been KO'd before.... by much lesser fighters than Floyd Mayweather, at much lower weights than 130.
one was a low blow and one was a body shot.. and so what, thats boxing. you take a risk and you get some to give some. mayweather never took that risk. and if he had to fight that chicken on 24/7 i bet you he wouldnt fight toe to toe
Watch the last few rounds of the first Castillo fight, and then tell me Floyd has never fought toe-to-toe. And I could name plenty of other fights too if I had to.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.... the "Floyd just runs" argument is the single dumbest argument on this entire message board.
and also the dumbest arguement is agruing about the past.. tell your daddy floyd to come down to 130 then.. dont talk crap and do nothing.. thats no honor..
Ya ok..... when was the last time a fighter came down 4 weight classes for a fight? I'm guessing the answer is never.
If you had read this thread, you would know that Floyd was saying the 130 pound version of himself from years ago would KO Pacman.... and he's probably right.
That's why he said that arguing about the past is dumb. Its really too easy to make "IF" statements especially if there is near 0% chance of it happening. And coming from someone who said that he would beat the hell out of DLH in their fight(which he didnt ... he didnt even try to KO the guy), I am inclined to disagree with him KOing Pac.
It's slightly different trying to KO a 154 pound opponent than a 130 pound opponent. Floyd had a KO% of around 75% during his time at 130.
I'm not really a follower of PBF and I haven't really seen his earlier fights. But since most of his fights nowadays are won by UD, I assume his rather high KO% came from when he was at 130lb and the lower weight classes. So theres no doubt he packed quite a punch before. But I would still say He wouldnt KO pac at 130 since Im a PacFan ngyahaha and also because pac wouldnt just stand there waiting for PBF to attack. Pac has always been an offensive fighter, he would take it on to PBF. It could go either way and would be fun to watch.

Were the two future hall famers around with Floyd when he was 130?

    At 130,

PAC KOed some good quality opponents.

    PBF KOed some good quantity.

That's like comparing 3 future hall of famers to 10 tomato cans.

I hope you guys get my analogy.

    I pick quality over quantity.

I disagree. The great thing about this site is that we have a great mix of supporters, nobody needs to be sold a fighter here. You have your knowledge and debate it, there is no end product and thats part of the fun. Its only when fighters face off that face can be lost, and thats only part of the fun

I can't see floyd going back to 130. When he was at 130, he would have beat Pac, but going back down might take too much out of him. If they fought at a catch-weight, Floyd wins. But, I can't see floyd taking him out in 3.

Pac KO'd Morales at 130. Morales was past his prime, but I won't penalize Pac for that, all credit to him for KOing Morales. Other than that, his KOs at 130 are against Solis, Larios, and Velazquez. Solis and Larios were both 126 pounder who moved up to 130 to fight Pac.

I'd like to see you construct an argument that those names I just listed represent significantly better quality than PBF's KO victims at 130..... such as Angel Manfredy, Genaro Hernandez, Diego Corrales, Jesus Chavez.

That takes some balls to say that seeing as it would kill Mayweather to get down to 130 to do it. Once there, Pac might just be too strong for him. If i were Floyd, I would at least want it at a catch weight of like 137-138...S*** let's see it, make it happen, I bet he couldnt end it that fast...Mayweather could defiinitely pull it off cuz he can box like no other, but i dont know about three rounds. And I dont know about the rest of you but I would really love to see this fight come off someway somehow!!!

I think Barrera and Morales are greater 130 than those boxers that you've mentioned.

Plus, didn't Morales defeated Genaro Hernandez convincingly?

Morales past his prime @ 29 years old?

pac pretty much took out solis when he felt like it, that was when the cut came he decided hmm....let me get my cut look at so yea i'll turn up the heat a bit and get rid of this guy solis. and yea pac took larios to 12 because he wanted to so his countryman had plenty of time to watch him in action

    At 130,

PAC KOed some good quality opponents.

    PBF KOed some good quantity.

That's like comparing 3 future hall of famers to 10 tomato cans.

I hope you guys get my analogy.

    I pick quality over quantity.

I think Barrera and Morales are greater 130 than those boxers that you've mentioned.

Plus, didn't Morales defeated Genaro Hernandez convincingly?

Morales past his prime @ 29 years old?

Pac and Barrera didn't fight each other at 130 pounds.

    No, Morales never fought him.

Yes, Morales was past his prime at 29. You can be over the hill by 29 when you turn pro as a teenager, have tons of wars, and constantly starve yourself to make weight. Still a great achievement for Pac to KO him though.

man, i wish many would see it like you. good job trying man.. but coming here to a forum with a lot of pbf fans.. its like going to a buddhist monastery and selling condoms..
They use widrawal technic @ buddhist monastery?

    Just kiddin'.

Yeah, I'm well aware that there are more PBF fans here than Pacfans. I have no problem with that.

I'm just a visitor here from PACLAND. Good to be here.

PBF said if he was at 130 lb, the fight would only last three rounds.

    Do you agree?
That takes some balls to say that seeing as it would kill Mayweather to get down to 130 to do it. Once there, Pac might just be too strong for him. If i were Floyd, I would at least want it at a catch weight of like 137-138...S*** let's see it, make it happen, I bet he couldnt end it that fast...Mayweather could defiinitely pull it off cuz he can box like no other, but i dont know about three rounds. And I dont know about the rest of you but I would really love to see this fight come off someway somehow!!!
    yeah man. cc.
...and I disagree, but I respect your opinion.
well zahir raheem made morrales look silly and raheem isn't as skillful nor does he punch as clean as floyd..so floyd would have exposed morrales and stopped him...not to mention it seems that after watching raheem embarass morrales why after taking the money fight with morrales why pac wouldn't fight raheem..because as every analyst, and trainer that were on the air that night including manny steward..said that if pac's handlers are smart they wouldn't put him anywhere near raheem because he's tooo slick of a boxer/puncher...and i ask is raheem slicker, more elusive, and more of a boxer/puncher than floyd?
