I just think just because we won't ever succeed 100 % in trying to be environmentally friendly it doesn't mean we can't improve a lot as we are becoming more advanced and learning more about the impact we have on the world. I'd be happy with 70 - 80 % success.
I'd never want to live in a third world country and I don't necessarily think they're more environmentally friendly.
You came into this thread thinking it was about just global warming. Thats not what it was about. It was about the people trying to push their political agendas with global warming (the left wanting to make rules for how everyone should live despite them being called liberals and the right which is mostly big oil companies not wanting to change so they'd keep making money). The people in the middle (us) realize that there's things going on and they need to be dealt with. We don't have a voice in this country despite the fact that 80% of the country is composed of moderates working in the middle class. I'm not against the idea of global warming, i'm against the people using it to benefit their own agendas.
