    Not singling you out ICB....

That's a general post that applies to everyone even me.
I just quoted so as to make reference to that matter and whomever it involved.

This is going to sound stupid but when i was really young I used to like Kirkland Laing. I was only about 7 or 8 though.

The only other boxer who has had the same impression in morden times is Michel Katsides(Aussie/greek bloke).Looking forward to his next war.
Wot u r saying Hamed didnt fight in mordern times ? WTF ??
by the way Katsides is strong but cruder than an Irish navy at the vicar's for dinner !!!!lol
he gets owned by the first top fighter he fights.

Marco Antonio Barrera - When I saw him beating seven shades out of Mckinney I couldnt wait to watch him again . Knew he'd be the guy to beat Nas and just thought he was a great in the making

Sugar Shane Mosley - I wasnt fan to begin with when I first started watching him but when I saw how blatantly talented he was, I became a believer. Sugar Shane in his prime is pretty unbeatable . Cant think of any fighter in history that could have beaten him at lightweight

He had a style that was nothing like I'd ever seen before, absolute speed, power and precision, he was all muscle and menace and he was absolutely TERRIFYING ..... he's go after people like they said something bad about his mother.

I saw his 4th pro fight and immediately knew that this was a great great fighter just waiting to happen ..... he ended up dominating the heavyweight circuit for nearly 20 years.

Shit, how can I forget Tyson? When I first became a boxing fan( 3-4 years ago now),Tyson's career was one of the first I ordered! It was insane, when he ko'ed guys,I was cheering and jumping, but then you'd have to check the opponent was ok like the guy he dropped in corner,I thought he died or something. I don't think I've ever seen such an animal,I can honestly say Mike was one of the few fighters that came across as genuinely scary as in 1 hit and he could kill you/knock you unconscious scary. He was a little Hulk! I mean physically even, you look at him and thought WTF?! Has there been such a physical specimen in boxing?!

    This is an awesome thread!!!!

I'd like to add JMM too. Oddly, the first fight I saw of his was against Manny. I ordered a MAB career set,saw Manny, ordered his career set,saw his fight with JMM and was blown away. I went back, saw some of JMM's older fights and have been a fan since. He is much more exciting to watch now then he was then imo.before he used to be a PURE counter puncher,I mean I seldom saw him lead. Now he leads ALOT more.

Its amazing how learning about different boxers is a "Thread" in and of it self.It really is an ongoing education.Like finding a prize when you realize how many talents there are out there to see.
Good Pick on Marquez El Gamo...He really is a tactical master. He reminds me of Hopkins a little.A real ring general who has evolved over the years.Except they started out as opposites in styles, and your right Marquez will sit down and war if needed now.Great fighter

Pavlik, we have the same plan. Next to Pacman, Pavlik is the man.

thanks Jeff. Maybe we can have another cc bet when Pac fights Diaz. That way, you can have your chance of deducting your 100-cc liability from me.heheeh.

    CC back to you.

Thanks for the support Kel. Were you the one who gave me a cool click, or did I snag Jennifer Lopez?
