I was ready to shell out big bucks to see him when they were talking about the Oct. bout in Vancouver, too bad it never came together.

Should be easy win for Pac.

That Erik fight made my me both happy and sad To see my favorite fighter go out with an official loss. But really win.

Diaz is just too nice and humble. I wish Pac and him would talk smack against each other. Atleast one of them should play the asshole role . It's a good way fire up the fans imo.

I think Manny's speed is gonna be all the difference in this one. Diaz may get a huge shiner again with Manny's new found jab. I don't think the weight is going to be any issue right now Manny has looked a little sucked up lately making weight, although he looked fine against JMM. I think if anything it will help his stamina which was already stellar.

Yeah David needs to grow a pair and get nasty . Hes not well known enough to be humble Oscar and Mosley can get away with it but he cant .

The way I see the fight unfolding is Pac being too quick and powerful for Diaz early . Might drop a couple times but if the rumours are true that he isnt training hard then Diaz could make this interesting in the 2nd half cuz I aint been impressed with Pacs workrate in his last 2 fights .

Yes. The romours are true. He's still in the Philippines. He's busy attending some invitations from high ranked Philippine politicians, doing some charities, releasing baby turtles in the ocean, writting article about preserving nature... and all those craps. He needs to get his ass in wild card gym pronto!

But I guess that's the way he really is. Manny is just being Manny.

I heard he was scuba diving (sp?) and his justification for thiswas that teh salt water is good for his skin as it strengthens it and stops him from cutting . Who belives this crap . Just be honest . He cant be bothered to train cuz he knows Diaz is a bum and will be an easy win .

My concern is if he doesnt get Diaz out of tehre early Mannys fitness levels may not be what they should be and this could develop into a mini war .

When I saw Diaz box I thought this guy is really useless. I mean he doesnt even know the basics. How on earth is he holding a WBC title. If Manny loses to him its more embarassing than the Torrencampo defeat .

I'm gonna go for the upset!

David Diaz is awful but I think Pac knows this too and wont perform as good as he can. In his last two fights he hasnt been the whirlwind he once was and those were in high profile fights. Now hes moving up in weight vs a guy he is expected to beat easily so how is he gonna be more motivated for this when hes coming off fighting bigger names.

I think early on he will be too quick and powerful for Diaz dropping him early but he will think it can be done on the back foot after that . So Diaz will keep coming wearing him down in his crude way . Pac will be uncomfortable and will lose a points decision IMO .
