Convince the media? This was an undercard fight to Tyson-Savereasy. Witter HELPED "save" the show.

It seems as though you don't understand the class gap between inexperienced Brit level and genuine "world" championship level.

Not everyone gets the silverspoon pampered treatment in life, donny. Some people HAVE TO take the CHANCE when it arrives
I realise not everyone gets the recognition, grooming or management they deserve, but my point stands.

I actually have very little problem with Witter, he acts brash on telly, but by all accounts he a nice amiable guy off camera.
Nobody reachs world level unless they've got something special and Junior does.

However, for me, he's just not on Ricky's level.
Which is - it's far better to get knocked on your arse by a Brit level fighter than get outpointed by the unbeaten IBF champion of the world

I voted Witter just because of a gut feeling that maybe Hatton has peaked. What I mean is that he has passed his edge physically and emotionally. His forrays into the welterweight division have been well, less than spectacular and his days at JW seem to be a little uneven. Just feeling that his style needs a tune up or he is headed for a quick decline as face first brawling doesn't lead to a long stay at the top. As examples: Ray Mancini and Jake LaMatta. Just my thoughts. I could be wrong and usually am (by what happens in the ring).

Hatton has been beaten once by Mayweather, stopped once by the best fighter in the world.

He had been down once before that, ibn a fight which he dominated after that really.

Hatton has a rock hard chin at 140, what is Witter going to do that will allow him to KO ricky
    nothing,ricky by tko.
