    Default Tonights Fights...grab a chair:Picks,RBRs & chatter

Well It's close to double feature time so I thought I would put up a gathering spot for Quick picks and Chatter.......Missed out on lastnights FNF's here so we have time to make up for It.

We should get back on track with a fight picks...The other threads have seemed to dry up.

Picks....Not alot of time to dress things up,just want to get it going. Will come back in a bit with add-ons.These cards will overlap so I'm going to attempt a RBR on one or two with all the channel flipping.Feel free to Jump in and mix it up as viewing.SHOWTIME up first:

Vernon Forrest 40-2 (29) VS. Sergio Mora 20-0-1 (5) Lt.Middle.....Im picking Forrest via TKO 10th.Finally Mora gets his huge big name fight...whoops.
Carlos Quintana 25-1 (19) VS. Paul Willaims 33-1 (24) Im picking Quintana via W.S 12....For a fight that was dictated and controlled by One fighter,Rematch can still be interesting .So much can be said here

HBO begins at 9:00 pm my time,

Kelly Pavlik 32-0 (29) TKO Gary Lockett 30-1 (21) Im picking Pavlik via TKO...honestly do not know to much about Lockett? But I do think Pavliks Leaky defense will catch up.......some day?

Juan Manuel Lopez 21-0 (19) W.12 Daniel Ponce Deleon 34-1 (30) Im picking Lopez via W.12 Or even a late TKO...IMO this is must see viewing. This will be a pure acid test for Lopez and he will have to endure & rise to a new level should he hope to topple solid Deleon.I just find Deleon very catchable ....Lopez should be VERY wise and do not get lured into toe to toe when he gets tagged,Boxing with disaplined power in spots will be key for him Imo. This could be a coin toss up really.Nice match up

Ive never been one to get too carried away with shiny records but one thing that catches me ...All combined these gentlemen collectivly bring in a 235-6-1 win/loss record with 176 KO's.......good stuff!!....Cheers enjoy the fistticuffs
