Seen that. We picked him up after we had him on trial.

Adu is one of the most overhyped players ever.

Elano is likely to leave, plus Ireland is much better all around player. New centre back will be Lescott. We made an enquiry about Maicon for Rb but didn't follow it up. Zabaleta or Richards are both capable anyway.

Finally we are going to make a move for John Terry quite soon. Doubt we'll get him.

chelsea mate of mine says this is common knowledge that citeh will offer around 60m in july for JT. Wont happen in a million years though for the reason that chelsea are the only club who can compete financially with city.

PS:Any chance of having a word with that sheikh and giving us onuoha and sturridge on loan for the season
Well i can't see Terry wanting to leave Chelsea tbh. Just got told we're going to move for him.

Sturridge has all but gone mate. To Chelsea. As for Ned....no chance!lol. He's been very solid for us. Him or Kompany will probably partner Lescott next season.

Any transfer news on your front?
One of my friends is a coach at Finch Farm and the stories are Everton aren't going to budge for less than £20 million.

Lyle, people are looking at Bradley and Dempsey. Actually Everton's supposed to be looking at both, or at least were. I wouldn't mind that for Bradley although I'd rather just see Dempsey stay at Fulham but can't blame him for looking to make more money. God knows where they found that Anton guy, the U.S. fourth division I didn't know we had three divisions.

Davies I thin will move up too, just a question of how far. Adu isn't going anywhere till he actually does something, one good game against Spain and a good U-21 tournament only takes you so far. He's overrated by a lot of American fans although honestly he's probably underrated by a lot of non-Americans because of the hype, he does have his moments, just not enough of them.

Well so was Lebron James and so was Kobe Bryant...it will take time for Freddy to acheive his potential, people talk like he's 40 years old already and the kid has never been given a chance to play regularly.

Gooch just got bought by AC Milan

Even just a few years ago I thought he was a liability. He has improved though. Hopefully he gets (at least semi) regular playing time.

John Terry will hand in a transfer request.

Carlos tevez' paper working taking a little longer than expected due to Premier League checking over previous 3rd party ownership but should hopefully be done this week.

Eto'o agreed terms with city but city waiting to see what happens with his 'loyalty bonus' from Barca.

tevez is as good as done and will sign in the next 7 days

Terry situation is completely up in the air as the man himself has made no comment so far and i suspect will be entering into contract negotiations shortly with chelsea...would favour chelsea 65-35 to keep him.

Eto`o deal is completely up in the air due to him demanding that 11m pay off clause from barca. Expect to see him go but the longer this draws out the more chance he has of joining a milan or chelsea

Every single fan in the league is dead jealous of city. Real football sides like arsenal, everton, west ham can only dream of having that sort of money.

At WHU our technical director recently at a fans forum told us that no money was available for transfers and that more sales would have to be made to recoup debts made by the previous ownership. In comparison you have a side of similar stature in man city who shit another golden egg and end up with 250 odd million at their desposal.

I'm happy for Gooch, I am also hoping that he gets playing time though, because he had a rough stretch at Newcastle.

    Tevez has signed.

Eto'o deal we pulled out of. Wanting something tied up for when we go to South Africa (wednesday) so we have turned our attentions to Emmanuel Adebayor. Should be able to wrap this up quickly.

John Terry has stopped short of handing in a request but he does want to speak to us. Think he wants to hear what he have to say and see what's on offer. Still got some time to run but the fact he hasn't come out and said anything is only adding to the speculation.

Emmanuel Adebayor has passed a medical and will sign a 5 year contract subject to him getting a work permit today.

He will partner Robinho and Tevez in attack.

We've decided to fuck defenders off this season opting for an attacking approach which will see us winning most games 8-6.

Seriously John Terry still wants to talk with us but Chelsea aren't letting him. He's flying to USA tomorrow so expect no movement on it til he comes back.

Lescott will be signed as soon as Everton get in a replacement.

    -------------------------Given------------------------------

    Richards---------Terry(If)-------------Lescott(When)-------------Bridge

    ------------------------De Jong----------------------------

    -------------Ireland--------------------Barry

    -------Tevez------------Adebayor-------------Robinho-----

Subs: Taylor, Santa Cruz, Wright-Phillips, Petrov, Bellamy, Bojinov, Kompany, Onohua, Zabaleta, Elano

Been told Elano is on his way at some point. Imagine Big Phil Caicedo will be shipped out hopefully just on loan.

Strong side is that though. Capable of Champions League spot in my Very Blue opinion.

City have some egos, can you see wright Phillips and Bellamy stay on the subs bench?
