No more excuses. If these reports are correct Pacquiao is definitely avoiding this fight. Mayweather agreed to the conditions and even gave Pacquiao the option to pick one of 2 dates his people negotiated and still Pacquiao says no, if these reports are correct.
If this fight does not happen between March to May, it's because Pacquiao is avoiding it. Plain & simple.
Your not from the Philippines so obviously you don't know anything about Pacman's plan in running into politics. It is well known here that he has plan to enter the political arena (again) even before the Pacman vs Cotto fight. And articles have been written about this locally and abroad. So its no surprise that he does not want to fight on March or May.
Pacman is not avoiding a fight with Mayweather. He is just simply saying lets fight on another date.
Thats neither here nor there. His people (Arum) negotiated those 2 dates and Mayweather agreed to them. Even Roach said he wants the fight to happen on May 1st.
The fact is the negotiations happened and only one signature sits on the contract, Mayweather's. And now Pacquiao's lawyer is saying Pacquiao won't fight.
"Trainer Freddie Roach has confirmed BoxingScene.com's big scoop over the weekend, Manny Pacquiao may move up to 154-pounds to target a world title shot against undefeated WBA champion Yuri Foreman. Foreman and Pacquiao are both promoted by Top Rank. Roach, who will be in Amir Khan's corner this Saturday, told British press that Floyd Mayweather Jr. doesn't want to fight Pacquiao in March, and
Manny doesn't want to wait until May or June to fight again - likely due to a possible election run as noted earlier by BoxingScene's Ronnie Nathanielsz."
But now it's "Hey, lets wait until September after all"
One person is making this a difficult fight to make, one person is slowly revealing this fight may not happen...And it's not Mayweather.
