Gahhh and thats what happens. So many chances and no capitalizing. USA comes down the ice once and scores. 4-3 it is.

Allen horribly mishandles the puck, 5-3 U.S.

He might have cost Canada the game there.

I don't know if I would have pulled him there. Hasn't Allen played all the games (except maybe for 1 gimme) in the tournament? Putting the back up in cold here could be disasterous for the Canadians. Big difference between doing this and doing what the U.S. did by putting in Campbell.

I could be very wrong here, but this game doesn't have the same feeling as the last Canada - U.S. game where the America's were up by 2 at this point in the third but lost. That game Canada's comeback just seemed inevitable and I don't get the same sense here.

That's because this goalie is hot. This game is over. And ours is a sieve..

It's the same goalie they potted two against when they needed to last time.

The U.S. just stopped two sure-fire goals with their shot-blocking there.

That was a bullshit penalty call. The American got shoved into the Canadian goalie. If that turns this game around I will be disgusted. Charging!?! Fucking ridiculous.

Booourns to that. I don't mind Canada scoring, a game like this should go to OT, but that way a fucking gift from the refs.

The U.S. is badly rattled. To use a lame-assed boxing analogy, they remind me of a fight who dominates early and gets out to a big lead, but gets rattled, hurt, and then lost their gameplan and their confidence. Kinda like Cotto against Margarito.

Just when you think we cant pull it out this time, no way. They do. Ad reseeing that penalty the player did make a point to go into the goalie and they have cracked right down on that. So it was a dumb move.

4 on 4 .shit. I have to give the USA an edge here with their speed. But Canada certainly has the momentum going in...
