Haye isn't stupid, he is in this for the money. Everything he does and says us designed to make him more money.

I believe the fight/s will happen, but Haye isn't in this for the legacy, so he had realised there are millions more to be made first. I think his plan came together quicker than he expected.

His final fight, win or lose will be against a Klitscho, I think he knows that so is dragging it out a little now. He is very calculated.

He didn't unify a weightclass without having an eye for timing and match making. He knows exactly what he's doing, rightly or wrongly, he obviously has a plan.

Yep I totally agree. Nice to see some intelligent posting.

Although I disagree slightly about legacy. Haye was undisputed cruiser weight champ before moving up, that is no mean feat. If he was to then become undisputed heavyweight champ that would cement his names in the history books weather it is his intention or not.

David Haye's £10 million world heavyweight title defence against bitter rival Audley Harrison is set to be finalised next week.

The biggest all-Brit heavyweight fight since Lennox Lewis defeated Frank Bruno almost 17 years ago is likely to take place at Manchester’s MEN Arena on November 13.

Talks are ongoing between Haye’s manager Adam Booth and Eddie Hearn who represents Sydney Olympic gold medallist Harrison.

Promoter Barry Hearn, Eddie’s father said: 'I’m not part of these negotiations. My son Eddie is fronting up the discussions.

'We are in talks, I understand the talks are going reasonably well. In the heavyweight division, there is nothing else out there as far as British fight fans are concerned.

'The fantastic thing about David Haye is that he’s burst on the scene and done a fantastic job against Nikolai Valuev, boxed the ears off John Ruiz and put him into retirement. He’s hot.

'People don’t know what to expect from Audley Harrison. He’s been talking a great fight for years, never delivered it. He’s at that last stage saloon - every fight fan in England wants to see this fight.

'The fight’s going to be amazing. I hope Eddie and Adam Booth get this fight together. Watch this space.'
Meanwhile, Vitali Klitschko will defend his WBC heavyweight title against Shannon Briggs of the United States in October.

Klitschko’s management says the fight will take place in Hamburg on Oct. 16.

The 39-year-old Ukrainian says Briggs has 'great experience, has even fought significantly more professional fights than I have and is one of the hardest punchers, in the heavyweight division.
    a) Yes we do. He'll be awful as he always is.

    b) Every fight in England does NOT want to see this fight.

    c) David Haye has still blocked me on twitter. It's a shame as I've sent him a few 'nice' tweets recently.
