Haye isn't a cruiserweight. I doubt he could make that weight anymore. He weighed more against Wlad than Ali did against Frazier both times he fought him. He weighed 222 against Ruiz. He's 6'3" and doesn't have an ounce of fat on him, for Christ's sake. Why do we keep making these ridiculous comments just to try to discount the HW division?

Wlad couldn't hit him and I doubt Vitali will either. Haye knows he can't punch with either brother, so he'll just stay away. The guy's got great defensive skills.

He's going to get a big paycheck. He's smart.

He'll be Adamek's opposite. Everybody says Adamek's got a lot of heart. I personally didn't enjoy watching Adamek get beat up. Looked like a rag doll in there. I worried that his brain was getting mushed. I was pissed off at his corner for not stopping it. I would have admired Adamek for having the guts to say "fuck this. I've got a wife and kids. Do they want to see me brain-damaged?" Haye will come out without a scratch.

Two opposites, Haye and Adamek, but both good fighters. It's just that nobody can punch with either Klitschko.

Everybody, (including me) will pay to see Vitali cream Haye. And everybody, (including me) will be disappointed with a UD for Vitali.

I will add, however, that since Haye is a legit heavyweight, and a hard puncher, and since he did whack Wlad a good one in the 12th round, that it isn't beyond imagining that he could cold-cock Vitali. Or vice versa for that matter. I guess that's why we'll pay to see the fight.

seems the build up has started already

like him or not seems that not only did haye has breath a bit of life into the HW, he is still giving us something to talk about

id say this is the most commented on thread in such a short space of time since the haye wlad build up / aftermath

p.s. how do i think the fight will go? i have the same opinion as before the haye wlad fight, vital is a massive favourite but haye does have a punch and skills. and as with the wlad haye fight i will be placing one bet, klit on points

This being Vitali who has never been dropped before and took one of the hardest uppercuts I have ever seen from Lennox Lewis without batting an eyelid?

You'll get no argument from me that Vitali is tough. He's an ATG in my book. I'm just sayin' that Haye is a legit heavyweight with power and if he's right on the button he could probably KO anyone on the planet.

its sort of ironic that "delusional" has become boxing fans favourite word (specially the haye hater's)

when its a word that haye really made prominant during the haye harrison build up

    dont you think?

also the most active thread on the board is full of people saying they arent interested in the fight that the thread is about

Well after all the trash talking before the Wlad fight, which he hardly laid a glove on him , and he has now started the same shit with Vitali, the guy lives in a fantasy world he is delusional , cant exactly call him Nostradamus now can we .

It's because people are embarrassed for him. Nothing more.

Haye currently does NOT deserve another title shot. He needs to earn it by facing some of the tough 3-10 guys out there. I stand by the fact that he talked his way into a championship fight. It was his obnoxious flare that got him the fight in which he unfortunately performed like a nancy. To get another big pay day like that, he should fight 2-3 of the top ten heavyweights, and if he comes out unscathed, fair play: let him get a shot at Adamek. Erics44, you say he would beat Adamek or Arreola, but he's never beat anyone as good as them in his whole career depending on how you rank Ruiz. Let's see him face the Chagaev's, Povetkins, Adameks, and Arreolas and we can fairly assess how good he really is. Right now, he is a dolt whose best win is over Valuev or Ruiz.

    no it isnt

i do agree he doesnt deserve another title shot tho

but he would beat chag, ademek and arreola there is little doubt about that, a fight with provetkin might be good or at least close

klit v provetkin would be as one sided as the last klit v haye, and provetkin cant punch so klits would have nothing to worry about at all

there might be little chance of anyone beating a klit, but theres still more chance of haye beating one than provetkin

LOL. Haye delusional! Haye's a showman. And he's gonna be a very rich showman. It's like Barnum (or was it Bailey?) said, there's a sucker born every minute.

Let's face it. He'll get this fight, all us suckers will have to watch it, and he'll make a killing. And so will Vitali. (Call me delusional, but I wouldn't be surprised if the whole gang of them, Vitali, Haye, and Wlad are all in cahoots! LOL.)

But there is one thing guaranteed. He's not going to pull an Adamek and get his head bashed in. He'll put on another masterful defensive show. Maybe try a few hard shots. Haye wants to retire healthy and enjoy his money.

It still takes guts to step inside that ring against a Klitschko. He could get caught. And Vitali better watch out, too. Haye can punch.
