Every time someone says a fight should of been a draw is cuz they know deep inside there fighter really loss. It kills them to admit they lost but at the same time it makes them feel stupid claiming they won knowing that's not the case. So they try and reach some sort of ridiculous compromise and say draw. Which is just as moronic as saying they won.
Watch the fight again. Every single significant punch was landed by Dirrell. Only fighter hurt in the fight was Froch. Yes, Dirrell at times seemed to be running track as opposed to fighting. But it don't change the fact that he was landing the scoring blows. Froch pressed him all night. But all he did was throw Dirrell down and punch him on the break. Those are not scoring shots. I don't care much for Dirrell. To much pussy in him. And it's common knowledge I'm a massive Froch fan. But after watching the fight several times, I see no way Froch won that fight.
Atlantic City is only 500 miles closer to Oakland than it is England. Yeah it was still in his country but the US is a fairly vast place and I don't think that was nearly the homefield advantage it's made out to be.
It's kind of perplexing too as to why Ward would ever go to Nottingham too, if anything that bout would happen in Oakland or Vegas.
As far as predicting a match result, Adam what fighter with that much experience has never been hurt or put down? I am drawing blanks. Pacquiao was hurt by Oscar Larios but I wouldn't use that as a tool to foreshadow a Pacquiao-Rios bout. Ward can be hurt, as can every other human being on the planet. He still has too many tools for Froch who has had a very surprising career.
