Of course they can, talk about anything else is delusional, Fury is as guilty as any other so called 'up and comer' of selecting opponents cautiously, he wont fight Price? He wont fight any kind of decent yank? How about Tony Thompson? All this crap about Fury being a serious contender is silly, and as for being a ticket seller that is downright silly, the only reason ppv got sold for his bore fest with chisora was the undercard which featured EUJR and Saunders. Fury is middling to average at boxing, middling to good at gobbing, the first time he gets into a ring with a real contender he gets beat, all he's trying to do is make his first loss a lucrative one, cant blame him for that but lets get real.
It doesnt change the fact he is getting a higher profile all the time.
If only Haye had been as confident and keen to have fought tyson![]()
Haye interview today
David Haye: Anthony Joshua is like a young version of myself | Daily Mail Online
I was talking about Furys ability to be a pay per view fighter compared to Haye. He almost was twice, even before his first world title fight. Haye didn't become a pay per view fighter until his third world title fight against Valuev.
Also, once beaten profile does not turn to "rat shit". Mike Tyson earned more in his career years ago than Wlad has. I bet Mayorga has earnt more than most current world champs also. A high profile is whats needed to sell fights.

FFS Ross! Your getting silly now with selective 'facts' who the fuck pays for an 'alphabet' world cruiserweight title, to see Rob Norton or Johnny Nelson? The only decent cruiserweights we've had in the last ten years have been Haye and Holyfield (sorry twenty). To bum up Tyson Fury's credentials on the basis of his 'box office' is patently ridiculous, when his last fight would not have broken even had it not been for the undercard. All credit to you having paid for a ticket, but you must have felt lonely at 1 o clock in the morning sitting in the Exel after everybody had gone home half way through the snooze fest that was Fury Chis.
The only people who left early were those who had arranged their travel plans. The place was still heaving!
Even if it was half empty there was still 9000 there watching it you muppet!
Also, "alphabet" cruiser weight title? Haye and his fans would have you believe he was the undisputed champ?

Arreola Stiverne was highly dramatic.
If your referring to Wladmir's fights, well that is because we live in an era where the HW champion is all but invincible.
If you lived in an era without a dominant champion you would call it an "alphabet era" and STILL complain, this time that there were no stand out champion boxers.
"Enough with the games mate! Your messing with the Grand Master!"

Question for you guys , how many times has fury fought BOXOFFICE , and was his last fight BOXOFFICE ?
How many fights did Haye have before winning the wbc and wba belts in his opponent's home country? 20
How many world title fights has fury been in (let alone won) and how many pro fights has he had?
Haye won an EBU title after 15 fights, how many has it taken Fury?
I wonder if you will reply with simple and direct answers to my questions, or convoluted excuses (my money is on the latter).
Haye has only had 5 fights more than Fury, Fury has a lot of catching up to do to even match how little David Haye has allegedly done. I'm not saying Haye has had an amazing career, but judging Fury by the standards YOU judge Haye by - Fury needs to get a move on...
Maybe everybody is just scared of him?![]()
