Didn't get to watch the fight... but followed on a live RBR. Many are in an uproar over the stoppage. I saw the video clip myself, and it seemed like a ridiculous stoppage. By all accounts, Weeks performed miserably, and added fuel to the already existing fire about boxing being ruined by lousy refs, even more lousy judges... and shady decisions to protect preordained results.

If it's designed to set up a pillow fight between Pauper Ry and Romero... then so be it. Legions of casuals and Ryan groupies will eat that fight up.

Might as well make the fight. It appears neither Romero nor the Pauper would survive in the ring against any of the 140 monsters out there.

Personally, I'd like to see the Pauper in there against Subriel Matias.

Only just watched the fight which was poor considering it was for a world alphabet belt.

Terrible stoppage by the ref and think he was a "Homer" to get the house fighter to become champion.
