It's not Roy's fault his reflexes slowed down.

And remember Mayweather said that 90 percent of "his" game is reflexes.

So without those reflexes Floyd would be done too. Reflexes escape with time, something Floyd will not be immortal to either.

Neither was it Evander Holyfield's fault either. I think Floyd will be smarter than Jones and get out of the game soon enough instead of waiting so long. Mayweather should have just enough fights and retire without losing.

that's unfair to say because roy started at 154, floyd might not even get that high..and floyd at 130 was too quick much like roy at 160 was too quick...if they both were 20...floyd would be 126-130,Roy would be154-160 so of course he'd hurt floyd...Trust me Roy Jones is my all time favorite and floyd is right behind him...but looking at they're styles if it were imaginable...given brain power, boxing skills, speed, cornermen, styles floyd would win...because he could effectively pressure Roy...and be quick enough to stay with him when he tries to evade...it wouldn't be a blowout by far on either side, but i think floyd would win...but since there's no real plausible way to even compare them at a resonable weight because they're so far apart...it's pointless...but Myweather if he continues on his path..he will be mentioned ahead of Roy Jones....think about this...if Floyd beats Hatton and Margarito...who else could he fight that would truly benefit his place in boxing history...nobody...so he really only needs two more fights and he could retire....

You're comparing PBF to Roy when it comes to what they were physically capable and thats a little silly. If Floyd was capable of fighting in RJ's style im sure he would, but it's doubtful that he can. Atleast I don't think he could on account of his slower footwork. Especially at 147 his footwork just isn't the same. And i'm not convinced he can take a good shot yet because Judah didn't hit him flush and nearly make his head snap off the way he did Cory Spinks.

Im sorry Roys hand speed wa sin another class, floyd is fast but Im not sure if you put him in with a prime delahoya, mosley and certainly leonard if he would be the fastest gun. Roy might lose to certain fighters of the past but he certainly has the fastest hands ever in his class and if you argue that your lying, their may have been people who could have boxed with him though, floyd however if he was quicker than a prime delahoy it wasnt by much and the difference would be power at lower weights

What hurts Mayweather is not having natural power (I call it not being mean enough). Deceptive power and natural power are 2 different things, and Jones had vicious striking to go with his speed. Gotta suck to be able to do all the things Floyd can but still lack the 1 punch everyone wants to see
