That is why the Democrats are going after him now with anything and everything.
It's not really the Democrats attacking Trump at the minute, the DOJ are doing all the work here. But it isn't political, they're just doing their job which is investigating and prosecuting criminals. You're right about the politics of it though. Trump is ahead and his support is actually increasing:

and he's far more popular with Republicans than he was at this point in the 2016 election:

This has to sting a little though. Nobody trusts this fucker to pay his bills, his reputation for honesty and probity is nonexistent yet there are all these foreign governments desperate to give huge deals to his company (which has also recently been convicted of felonies). It's hard to understand:

Liz Cheney makes a good point:

Not just idiots though, lots of criminals. Here's the CEO of a firm convicted of running the biggest Medicare fraud in history. Instead of still being in jail he's apparently going to run for prez:

Ironically if you took all the huge Social Security and Medicare socialist payments to Florida over the years of it being America's retirement centre, not to mention various federal hurricane etc insurance schemes it would be as poor as West Virginia.
This guy is currently a Florida Senator and the head of the GOP national committee which is a great look for the party of law and order. If he does run for prez he must think the Meatball is toast.
Why would you do this? Seriously? It's too much to give people ten minute breaks in heatwaves?
