    SADDO BOXING OFFICIAL RATINGS UPDATE

    Jr. LIGHTWEIGHT

Malcolm Klassen crashes the ratings at number two with his stunning seventh round stoppage of Cassius Baloyi who previously held that position. Baloyi drops two slots to four as he was thoroughly outclassed. Edwin Valero, Roman Martinez, Urbano Antillon, Jorge Barrios, Robert Guerrero & Mzonke Fana all move down one place to fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth & tenth respectively to accommodate Klassen’s entry and Baloyi’s fall. Nicky Cook (previously tenth) is forced from the ratings into the pool.

    Jr. BANTAMWEIGHT

Raul Martinez exits the pool after his crushing KO defeat at the hands of number two-ranked Flyweight Nonito Donaire.

    FLYWEIGHT

Hugo Cazares (eighth last time) exits as he is ranked at Jr. Bantam (number ten) due to his win over Roberto Vasquez (number nine at bantam). Omar Salado moves up to fill the gap at number eight. Moruti Mthalane moves from the pool to number nine based on his solid albeit losing performance against number two-rated Nonito Donaire and a recent victory. Zolani Tete also debuts at number ten on the strength of his first round knockout of Rexon Flores.

    Jr. FLYWEIGHT

Brian Viloria rockets from the pool into number two with his spectacular KO of Ulises Solis who plummets from two to four. Edgar Sosa moves up to three, Giovanni Segura, Cesar Canchila, Omar Romero, Juan Carlos Reveco & Juanito Rubillar all drop a rung to fill spots five through nine respectively. Hugo Cazares (previously ninth) exits here as well, because he is ranked at Jr. Bantam and it’s more than likely he will not return to this weight. Number ten remains vacant.

    STRAWWEIGHT

Denver Cuello enters the pool with recent KO win.

A lot of ranked fighters in action this weekend!

But we need to keep an eye on 168 & 122 mainly!

I'd like to know if Spicoli thinks Peterson/ Blain should qualify for a position in the pool at 140 also?

Very good idea.Peterson brothers are so far under the radar, its puzzeling. Not a huge fan myself and frankly not really versed on Blain....have you seen him, what do ya think?.....But Peterson has maintained winning momentum, def. has skills ,seemingly stepping up big Saturday,Mesquita good win.And anyone blasting human land shark Toledo out in 1 gets my nod.

DeAndre Lattimore is not even in the pool but he's looking at a number 5 ranking if he wins over Cory Spinks

I might be going away for 3 days, so I may not be able to update SMW until Tues.

So with his victory last night, Froch moves up to take Taylor's place at #3 in the SMW division. Now, should Taylor move down all the way to #5 (Froch's old position) or should he only fall to #4, punshing Andrade etc. down one ranking each? I think Taylor should go to #5.

Also, how does everyone feel about putting Andre Ward in the pool at SMW?

I'd put taylor at 4 and drop andrade to 5. taylor had that fight but he got caught with seconds left. i want a rematch.

I see where you're coming from, but I feel Andrade has done nothing to deserve being dropped and Taylor, while he looked impressive early on last night, has proven relatively little regarding his ability to win meaningful fights at SMW - though I guess neither has Andrade.

    So it's 1 - 1 so far then.

I vote move Taylor down only one spot, he was winning that fight until getting stopped.

I also vote against Ward moving into the pool at 168, if he defeats Miranda he will enter & Miranda will exit

Anyone else think Edren Dapudong/ Bert Batawang fight could have qualified for the #10 position at 108?

Does Penalosa come out of the pools at both 122 & 118?

So, at the moment it's 2-3 regarding placing Taylor at 4 or 5.

Thats what I had in mind initially.Swap places,A broken record here but we should evaluate on a case by case basis.....Sam "I could appaently give a shite less" Peters still in the top ten kills me .

Cannot fault Andrade or bump him.Taylor drops 5th for me
