I can't believe the denial in this forum!! Your boy barely beat some guy we never heard of, who just happened to be a champion. The guy has 9 KO's. 9!!! And he almost stopped Hatton.

And you guys STILL think he's got a shot v. Mayweather?!!! Wake up and smell the coffee, people!!

Thank you Skel1983. This guy dissappears until its time for Taylor or Cotto to fight, then all of a sudden he's the boxing genius.

Hatton wasn't "almost stopped" that bollocks!

He got caught with a few good shots yeah but it's not as if he was saved by the bell. Them shots landed early in the round. If Hatton was so badly hurt why couldn't Collazo finsih him off? and why wasn't Hatton stumbling all over the place

It's just sad that most of the Hatton fans on this forum are in denial, based on the posts I've read since the fight.
I dont think they're in denial at all, if you take time to read the posts we all know how close it was. At the end of the day all judges had hatton ahead and thats the only thing that counts.

Dude, thats not what I'm getting from these posts. I'm getting a bunch of people who, for the most part, are ignoring how good Collazo boxed and how confused and unsure Hatton looked for a lot of that fight.

And HE DID almost get KO'd. Only reason he didnt is cuz Collazo aint a hard hitter, he's only got 9 KO's. If you cant see that, you my friend, are in denial.

Exactly! That's what most people don't see,Castillo to me is the best fighter with that bully/pressure style at the moment,he doesn't have to hold as much as Hatton to make it work.Bottom Line:Hatton just arrived in the U.S. and his party is over, there's no referee in U.S. that will allow him to hold as much as he did back in England.......And Collazo didn't finished him off cuz he was holding like a bitch as he was rocked.I would love to see Hatton go back down to 140 and fight Castillo, cuz all he can win against PBF is big recognition for his heart, because PBF will school him badly, watch Castillo fight against PBF(the 1st one)then watch Tszyu/Hatton and you will see a big difference.Castillo aint Ruiz,Hatton is.

Dosen't anyone think that the fact that Floyd is smaller than Hatton naturally that Ricky's bullying style would work to more effect on Floyd than Callozo?
Hatton couldn't really hurt Callozo, he could hurt Floyd.

I still think Hatton would have an easier time bullying Floyd than he did to Callozo.
And height dosen't matter either, Thomas Hearns is taller than Mike Tyson but it dosen't neccesarily mean that he is the bigger stronger man.
Floyd started as a Superfeather weight, and he has slowed down at 147.

We are not talking in height, naturally Hatton is much stronger than Floyd he is the bigger man.

What weight was PBF against Judah on fight night 146 Hatton weighed 158, there is no doubt Hatton is physically stronger than Floyd.

Still it doesn't matter, didn't Lacy looked like a character from Lord of The Rings for his last fight, and Calzaghe looked like a wimp and still kicked his ass technically, boxing.Hitting without getting hit,the only way I see Hatton landing those body shots is getting him on the ropes or holding him, otherwise I see him missing those all night long.

But its OK guys, keep making biased excuses.Only time will tell, and there's a lot of people that will say I told you so,and many of you giving us props for seeing things in an unbiased manner. This board supports Hatton so much cuz this is an English board literally, and that's ok always support what's yours, but My God Im puertorican and I aint that biased,I saw Tito lose against DLH,and I clearly see all the flaws Cotto has,so lets keep it real.
