Miami Vice's finale is supposed to be better than the Bank shoot out.....so I've heard (it might just be that film's saving grace)Originally Posted by Wadeb_21
I've read it on a couple websites....I forget which ones maybe imdb.com or movies.com or something along those lines.
Oggie, you mentioned Grave of Fireflies earlier, now if anyone can sit through that film and not feel the slightest bit sad,you have a heart of stone. I had a tear in my eye during the end,it made me sadder as I have a little sis.You like it Oggie?
You pretty much took the words out of my mouth man. That is one of, if not the most emotional movie I have ever seen! I watched it with my friend one night and believe me when I say, she was totally overcome with sadness... tears flowing non stop!Originally Posted by The Game
I wasn't far off either. It's amazing that an animation can touch you that much... but yeah, what an amazing movie! Really told the story of how war affected the kids in Japan at that time.
"September 21, 1945... that was the night I died."
After hearing that line at the start, you just knew you were in for something heart-wrenching.
Are you a fan of Studio Ghibli? I've seen a few of their movies and I have to say, they make awesome stuff! (Grave of the Firelflies, My neighbour Totoro, Laputa: Castle in the Sky and Spirited Away.)
I added two more movies to that list I was making on page 3 by the way.
