Calzaghe would whip em all from 160 lb to 175 lb.

He's a different league to all the others out there.
Because he beat Lacy? I think Calzaghe was good for that fight because the style of Lacy, Everyone else's style would give him issues. I think Lacy made Joe look on a different league and he was, but that was a different league then Lacy, don't disregard everyone else.

Well I guess Lou wanted an easy win for Jermain he did say " A fight to showcase his offensive skills"

Why do you hate Taylor so much? Who should he fight in his weight division? There is no need for him to move up in weight so why should he fight Lacey or Joe? There is nobody calling for those fights. Please explain all of this to us, since you have been here you havent done anything except hate on Taylor. Start backing up your argument with some facts.
I agree, Taylor last 3 fights against the best in boxing,he should have an easy fight not blame or shame in this but people should stop posting this s*** about B-HOP and asking oh why he didn't move in weight and start giving credit and respect to B-HOP too. I don't hate Taylor he is not of my fav. boxer but I still give him respect and credit and wish him luck in Middleweight devision. He is the MAN of MDW now so people should start giving him respect.

Agreed. Calzaghe would destroy Taylor...I hate it for ya people...but he would.

You saw what Hopkins did with Taylor in the first fight...no matter what the judges said...Hopkins outlanded him down the stretch.

Calzaghe would severly outpoint Taylor. More speed, volume, & power...no matter what the judges make of the fight on the scorecards...Taylor would be toting an ass whoopin.

I don't know what the outcome would be vs Taylor , but I can tell you I have a new respect for Calzaghe, I had not seen him fight much, and that sound beating he gave Lacy left me dumbfounded ! He is very strong and big for 168 He throw lots of punches. was very impressed with this fighter.

Not just because of what he did to Lacy. Watch his fights with Charles Brewer and especially Omar Sheika. He destroyed Sheika. The fifth round when Sheika was badly cut, he decided to go toe to toe with Calzaghe. You have to watch it in slow motion to appreciate just how awesome Joe was, slipping all of Sheika's punches whilst busting his face apart with his own shots.

Calzaghe is simply too quick, too slick and throws waaaaaaay too many punches for anybody even near his weight class to cope with. He's got an iron chin, only down once in his professional career against Bryon Mitchell, and as Mitchell was TKO'd about 45 seconds later I'd say Calzaghe isn't a man you want to put down unless you are sure he isn't getting back up!

Add to that the fact that he's one of the most sadistic and naturally violent men in boxing once he steps inside those ropes and you would have to be crazy to pick Taylor, Wright, Hopkins, or anybody else ahead of him.

As I said before, he'd whip all of em.

This bum named Salem knocked him down too. And the Mitchell fight was on Showtime other then Lacy thats the only time I've seen Joe Calzaghe and that fight was a quick stoppage or at least I thought it was back then.

Sergio Mora vs Jermaine Taylor? Mora don't even think about it. it will be the end of Mora career. It will happen the same of David Reid when he fight Felix Trinidad with only 14 fights Felix kill David career, Taylor will kill Mora career. Where is Reid? the same place where is going to be Mora if he fight Taylor.

Mora is not that hard to hit, he gets hit. His defence isnt the greatest, he likes to stand and trade every once in a while and that is when he gets hit. I dont think this would be a hard fight for Taylor.

dont forget how he bunny hops into his attacks (with his arms down as well) mora is constantly off balance, He got floored last fight by half hearted punch because he was off balance, and jumping into the combo like a ballerina

JT doesnt pride himself on speed.....

I only see one thing giving Mora trouble here...And thats JT's power,,,If JT gets set and Mora walks into one, it will mess him up...This is the one thing Mora will be needing to train for...

And Mora can make JT miss alot, Mora has good movement first, then likes to get in and exchange,,,I have to give it to Mora, he makes a fight exciting...

    Good Luck,

    Coach

That where is see the problems for Mora, is in those exchanges. I think he will cut early and then ultimately get koed in a very exciting fight.
