Get out a little more and ask around and you find he is more known among boxing fans than you think

U think I'm a rookie, bro... first of all I have seen many of his fights... Dont patronize me ... What I mean is that every boxer thats out there, on paper, does not have an anwer for him. speed, agression, combos, skill, defence.. Would u bet 8 mil on it... if u had the shot?

Coming from a Margarito supporter its unbelievable. There is noway that this "poor" record of Winky victories could possibly compare to the roll-call of HoF fighters that makes up his record.

I feel sorry for all you Margarito fans out there, I really do, but your blaming the wrong guys for not giving him a shot at the big time. The guy you wanna blame is Spinks. That's right Cory "F**king Spinks. Firstly he robs Myorga of his world welterweight title, then instead of facing Margarito next, (which I'm sure Mayorga would have) he goes & fights Judah who's last fight was at Jr. welterweight, & hadn't fought anyone since being knocked out by Tszyu. If not for Spinks Mayorga would have given Margarito his opportunity to break into the big time. So don't blame Floyd for not wanting to fight the lower status Margarito, or Winky for wanting what Floyd was offered. Blame that slow looking kid Spinks. Anyways Margarito just has to keep on doing what he does & his missed oppoertunity may come again.

Blame Cory Spinks for beating Mayorga

Blame Mayorga for coming overweight against Rivera causing a cancelation and a career at 154 instead of 147 where he could have won another title and given Margarito a shot.

Blame Margarito for taking the time to move up and fight Daniel Santos as Spinks beat Mayorga.

Blame Spinks for calling our Margarito and getting no response.

Blaim Margarito for losing to Santos.

    Blame Judah for beating Spinks

    Blame Baldomir for beating Judah

    Blame Mayweather for beating Judah

    And Baldomir for beating Gatti..

Yes they were all ducking Margarito had to do with it :-D

I never said anyone was ducking Margarito. If Mayorga hadn't have been robbed by Spinks I think Margarito may have gotten the next shot at the winner of Mosley Vs Mayorga & got KTFO!!!

man i dont get where you margaritans( copywrited foools! lol) are comin from.
i jus dont see who margarito has fought! no one particularly famous, hes not undefeated,
the boys got skills, but skills dont sell tickets, and suddenly he wants pretty boy floyd and winky.
listen to logic, margarito is not unstoppable, hes been beaten by guys i never heard of,
Pbf is undefeated and has never ducked anyone, hes fought some of the best out there!
winky has beaten greats, trinidad(who was not past it, he still looked good just that he was nuetralised by winky's defence, lets face it he had a solid game plan and stuck to it)
sugar shane- cant no one say hes not one of the best and that he hasnt beat some of the best.
drew with taylor and some might say he should have just edged it.
and hes fought tough fights at short notice all over the world
how does tony compare? i just dont see it
i say he challenges some people that are actually likely to fight him i.e collazo,or ouma like he was offered and then ask for pbf or winky, even though winky has offered him a fight already!
man i just wana know who is tony's next opponent and if he aint no good im goner start questionin if tony is really a top contender

Bro apparently he's fighting Clottey next, the guys gonna be a tough test. I wouldn't be surprised to see an upset here. Clottey was clearly winning against Baldomir when he got dq'd. An impressive win here for Margarito would definitely get attention as well as continuing his momentum from the Cintron victory.

Yeah I mean we all know Six Heads Lewis would have knocked out Mosley and that Jermain Taylor is a Middleweight strictly because he doesn't want to fight him. And Hercules Kyvelos could kick the shat out of Winky Wright and Jermain Taylor in the same night. Daniel Santos would also knock the daylights out of Mosley, but wait a minute he BEAT Margarito..he is Hall of Fame FOR SURE!!!!!
