yeah sorry mate, but i think he was a very underated defensive fighter. Yes he was gifted a few decisions but he basicly did rule that division. I would have said Joe C but he's not retired yet and when he does he will defo be the best of all time in that division.Originally Posted by raleights

only regional pride could make someone mention Sven Ottke in this thread...
hey come on man, the guy had 21 straight defences, retired undefeated aqnd he did have a unification match with Byron Mitchell. I just can't see anyone at that divsion who accomplished more that's all.Originally Posted by BIG H
He actually lost the fight against Mitchell and received the gift decision, pretty much common knowledge. Then went on to avoiding Joe C. (another unification). To each his own though
i know man, thats why i said he was gifted decisions ( i mean he never fought outta germany did he?) i dont love the guy or anything, but he's retired now and has the best record on paper.
What about Ernie Terrell? An inch taller than Lewis at 6'6".Originally Posted by Lyle

Dude.. he lost to a guy who only had 6 wins!!!! and a loss!! its a joke!!!
CAN you imagine if a top heavy today wanted to fight a 6-1 guy!?
and then claim its a big deal!!? three time world champion!! whooooo!
I dunno if ALI is in the top 10 all time heavyweights...
Please don't argue with me...just go back to licking his nuts.
Honestly, I don't know if you're joking or not. For your sake I hope you are.Originally Posted by landmine950

Duran fought a guy with 6 wins towards the end of his career. What a jobber Roberto was
Hell, I'd rather see a washed up heavy fight then a guy win a belt from an old John Ruiz and then defend against Beck, Barret and McCline.
