All those guys you mentioned, only Corrales was unbeaten Castllio was beaten by stoppage a few times beforw Mawether got there , your point means nothing, I could say wow Witter beat 15 opponents by ko in a row but we all know the truth, Juniors opponents werent world beaters and Floyds last few were Gatti who had been beaten 8 times already, Mitchell who had been beaten more spectacularly by a lighter and older fighter then Judah who lost his last fight worse than the one he lost to Floyd, Judah also never came close to flooring Baldomir

Sparring partners are not there to beat a guy up, they just have to be able to make him work and stay sharp.. Sparring with headgear and bigger gloves is alot different than in the ring, and many lower tier pro's can provide excellent sparring for top fighters... Floyd has many sparring partners as most star fighters do.. Im sure this was an impressive win for Witter but it doesn't mean he can beat Cotto or Floyd.

I dunno, I just heard a close fight not a domination from that radio broadcast. I remember Cotto Stopping Corley, a hometown stoppage, but Corley was startin to take a beating. And I remember Judah and Floyd breaking his spirit and making him survive. But if you think Junior is already better than all those guys with this win, then that's cool. Kind of foolish, but whatever.

Corley took a knee in this fight, I saw it, Corley also had Floyd all over the place they showed the clip before this fight he never came close with Witter, either Witter hitn too hard for him to try, his defence is too good or his chin is immense either way Witter did better with Corley like Tszyu did better with Mitchell, Baldomir and Tszyu did better with Judah and everyone else did better with Gatti

For me it was a great fight for Witter...

he'll bemuses Cotto to a knock out

and would give Hatton fits

fast heavy handed and you just cant lay a glove on him.....

controled the pace and deserves to be in the mix IMO Well done

I appreciate what ya saying mate, but i disagree on a couple of things

First, i thought the fight was boring after the 6rd. This could be due to Corley shying out of the fight after feeling Witters power. Or Witter making it that way with his Lord of the Dance routine.

This said, i feel the likes of Floyd, or Hatton, wouldnt give Witter as much respect after being tagged, and apply more pressure to Witter. For me Witter fancies himself as the ultimate counter boxer, Floyed beats him here. As for Hatton, well a good pressure fighter beats a good counter puncher imo.

On that performance i just carnt see the american public being taken with him, especially the likes of HBO or Showtime.

He could turn out to be another Sven Ottke, the man no-one wanted to fight, for whatever reason.
